Deerpoint Liquor Store

Warning about this store. My wife and I have been here 3 times and all 3 times have been overcharged. Experience number 1, I purchased a bottle of wine that was on sale for 12.99 and a few invidual bottles of beer. After I paid I got that feeling that I was over charged, no receipt was provided but I did the math at home and realized I was charged the full price for the wine of 19.99. Experience number 2 my wife went in and bought a bottle of 4 hands wine that was on sale for 9.99 and was charged over $14.00 Experience 3. My wife went in and purchases a bottle of wine that was on sale for 9.99 and was charged 12.00. She questioned it and was told it’s just the taxes (do the math it’s not). In this case she requested a receipt and was only provided the debit receipt that offers no proof. In fact all three purchases made no receipts were provided. Bottom line this store advertises sale prices and people likely by multiple items or are in a rush and don’t realize they being over charged. Lesson learned for me avoid this liquor store and don’t get ripped off!

I like this place, I really do. They have some incredible sales here n there. The staff remembers frequent customers n throws in some freebies now n again. They are savvy though n will not let a profit be overlookd. I will continue to return fr the deals, but I have learnd to be sure I know full well what Im payin fr...

Very good selection. Prices much better than the major liquor chain across the street. Lack a little bit on specialty items, but that's ok. Staff is always curtious and as helpful as they can be.

Fine place if you know exactly what you are looking for... but today I asked two employees if they could recommend a Buttery Chardonnay.. they both looked at me, shrugged their shoulders and said “we don’t know anything about wine.. but we do have Chardonnay!” Disappointed.

Such a friendly store! The owner is always very nice and accommodating. They usually have my favourite brand of beer in stock too!
