The desert is amazing I would recommend everyone the desert. The staff are really nice and kind. They always make fresh food. I would say this restaurant deserves a 5 star rating. Amazing owner and staff. They all ways server fresh food

An excellent restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and veteran service. My girlfriend and I had the tasting menu, and not a single dish missed the mark, even the bread was noteworthy! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience in old Montreal.

I went there for an intimate birthday celebration. The food was delicious, the service was always extremely courteous, fast and professional. The atmosphere is very romantic and intimate, I would say Solmar is excellent for a date! I recommend this restaurant whole heartedly for great flavor: it is a true taste of Portugal.

Amazing place. A true Portuguese gastronomy experience. Lovely ambiance and the best service I had in town so far. The house red wine is also delicious! Good job!

Very nice restaurant. If you love sea food then you will love this. I went with my wife for our anniversary and it was perfect. Pleasant wait staff, wonderful food the duck with figs was particularly memorable and nice atmosphere. With a visit.

This is a Portuguese restaurant. I was here maybe 4 years ago.The service was excellent. The food was good. I would prefer more light in the restaurant. It didn't cost too much.

Wow! What great little place we stumbled upon in old Montreal. Fantastic food and service in an authentic Portuguese restaurant that's been here for a long time with beautiful kitschy decor that still works after all these years! Very kid friendly to boot! A+
