1 star is very generous for the food they serve. Breakfast beef sandwich was very greasy, beef was impossible to chew. Server was very sweet and nice, she spoke to the “chef” and they applied $1.60 discount on our bill :D Solkatt is not worth your money and time. There are plenty of better options. Picture of the “yummy” sandwich attached.
Solkatt is such a cute little brunch spot! The cafe drinks are so good, I got a triple iced latte and an iced matcha when I went. The food is spectacular! So delicious and melts in your mouth. Very filling as well! If you’re looking for the perfect Toronto brunch spot, add Solkatt to your list!Food: 5/5
Liked this place a lot! Probably the best avocado toast I‘ve ever had. Pricey but worth every cent. Coffee roast was not my favorite slightly too dark, but that is very subjective. Great service and cozy interior.Food: 5/5
Excellent place for breakfast. You might pass the cafe and not know, as there is no signage outside. Tried the cappuccino and eggs florentine. Good portions and delicious.
Hidden gem and part of me wants to keep it secret!! I had their salmon eggs Benedict, since they cured their salmon in house it tasted super fresh. Their dashi hollandaise was silky smooth and very flavourful. We ordered the French toast to share and was a great sweet treat. Overall living up to their reviews
I had a wonderful experience at Solkatt! The coffee and pastries were so good, especially the cappuccino and raf coffee. The interior with cobalt blue accents is super cute!
All the dishes we tried had a unique take that was so delicious. I can't really explain it, but I had to share it in this review. Portions are perfect, and I encourage you to try the eggs Florentine, breakfast sandwich, or French toast. I've been in Toronto for 4 months trying new places and this one is my new favorite.Food: 5/5
I had fluffy pancakes. They burned it and cut off burned part my sister saw that as our table was close to kitchen area. Good value of 2 pancakes for $20. Server was nice but kitchen disappointing.Food: 1/5
Great little spot on Landsdowne. HIGH effort is put into the aesthetics of the food, which will surely appeal to the insta-crowd. Luckily, my Benny with Gravlox was top-notch beyond just its look the little pops of tarragon were delightful, and the fish was tender and rich. If I had one minor criticism, I would say portion sizes er on the side of small -- more breakfast than brunch even though the prices lean brunch. The two petite pancakes my wife received were cute as hell, but not ultra substantial. Regardless, a high-calibre neighbourhood joint and well worth stopping in at.
I came here for a weekend brunch. It's starting to pick up in popularity and I can see why with the good food and a dedicated baristas. I foresee a line up becoming common outside this place in the near future. The Eggs Florentine and Benny's are delicious and the pancakes looked very good as well.Food: 5/5
