Absolutely delicious Greek fare! I had the lamb plate with Greek salad and the lamb was very tender and flavorful. My entire meal was just so flavorful! My fiance had the Lebanese moussaka. It was made with angel hair pasta, eggplant, and tomato-based sauce. The flavors were delicious and were unlike any Italian dish. The stuffed grape leaf appetizers were very tasty too. Very unique and original. Not a factor but a nice plus was that they were very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!
Great little Greek restaurant with good lamb tasting food. Their Gyros were stacked with lots of meat. Very generous amounts. A most try. Their management staff walked the room maybe 4 times while we were Their checking on us. Very impressive.
Fresh food and generous portions. We had greek salads, pastitsio and a burger, all were really good. We didn't have dessert but it looked impressive. Parking: The parking lot has the drive thru lane running in between the lot and the building. Keep an eye out if you want to drive thru.
Easy to order online, large portions, and friendly service. A drive through is available, but I parked and walked in. I got a large platter to split for lunch with my mom and added the Greek salad and blood orange dressing. It was enough for leftovers for dinner too. The lamb was especially good Food: 5/5
Absolutely love greekos. They have some of the best Greek food I've ever had. The mousakka is fantastic and the portion is huge. They recently starting making new desserts. The baklava and chocolate mousse are phenomenal. However, once I got some food to go on my way to work and the nousse I got had started to mold. Service is generally pretty quick, but had a lot of times where they messed up the food orders. Sometimes it was the waitress, but most of the time it was the kitchen staff. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available
Love coming here, the food is always good and the staff provide a nice experience. I got the jumbo lamb and chicken gyro, which was really good. The lamb was especially well-cooked, making it a great dish.Recommended dishesLamb Gyro
When I traveled to this location with Virginia Paranormal Investigations, we weren't sure what to expect at this small, quaint restaurant in the heart of Abingdon, VA, but we were quite amazed by the food and service here. The restaurant is nestled in aming other beautiful, historic buildings in town. The interior is modern, with photos of Greece with its magical cerulean blue skies dotting the walls, and touches of matching blue paint here and there. It was one of the few restaurants open on July 4th, and was bustling with activity. We chose the pita nachos from the appetizers, shoen in my picture, and were bliwn away by the light, crispy and fluffy pita chips matched with bold flavored toppings. As an entrée, I chose the chicken souvlaki platter featured in the menu photos. The chicken was tender and flavorful, the rice cooked to perfection. I can't wait to return and tey something else from the menu, because everything there sounded amazing.
I’m always surprised pleasantly at the quality of both food and service here. Says volumes that of all the available food choices in Abingdon, this is our favorite place to eat. Healthy, clean, and fresh menu, wonderful and almost irresistible desserts, fast efficient service, and that doesn’t say it all. Reasonable prices with some appreciated discounts. Great bean appetizer is fantastic! My favorite: shrimp wrap. Great place, great people, great food!
A little place, with big flavors! I drive over an hour one way, once a week to snag some spanakopita. They also have a wonderful hot tea selection. Vegetarian options: Have a few vegetarian options that are super tasty. Parking: Parking is a bit tight, but the food makes it all worth it.
Loved Greeko's! Everything was fresh, big and delicious! I got the mixed gyro sandwich with salad and thoroughly enjoyed it!
