Story

Our mission? Great people helping other great people totally have a blast while enjoying amazing food. Wow, that was a mouthful. But can you blame us? We’re a restaurant. One that specializes in delicious food and great times. Our goal is to make you laugh. In all seriousness, we take real pride in our food. This isn’t run-of-the-mill pub grub.

Sola’s Bar and Grill – Dawson Creek, BC, is a family gathering place, as well, as posessing a separated bar area for having a good time and watching games.

Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and we take great pride in the service we provide, and sincerely hope it shows. We deal with fresh food and quality ingredients and have an unmatched passion for food, and of course Fun.

Our menu choices are outstanding and you will be sure to find whatever your palette is craving from our famous Caeser Salad to our delectable Butter Chicken. Our pasta is made to order and if you do not see what you are after our chef will be happy to prepare whatever you are craving, if possible.

The lunches are well done and arrive fast. The staff all have great personalities, and they remember you when you come back again and again. Be sure to check out the patio.

Battered shrimp taste like a came from no thrills across the street it was actually pretty horrible. enjoyed the onions under the battered shrimp more than I did the battered shrimp itself. I had the chicken Caesar wrap it was okay. But it needs little more flavor maybe something like ranch dressing.. it was missing something. The soup what's Pretty good overall chicken something special today. The gravy was running very little flavor to it. I had to add pepper just to make it reasonable And it was still running the gravy. How do I put this nicely or how to word this. I got there the waitress passed me the menu and asked me for my drink got me my drink brought it. back left again brought me a second drink. Shortly after I finally decided what I was going to eat and had to wait wait for 10 minutes for her to come back. She said she was very very sorry that she got distracted which does happen she apologized many times so things do happen.
This establishment is a great place to eat, the food is fantastic and the staff is friendly. Whether you live in town or you’re passing through, definitely put this on your list of places to visit in Dawson Creek. Highly recommended 10/10nnMet the owner while I was in. Very respectful individual. Well done Sola’s Bar and Grill! Keep up the great work.
Dawson Creek has very little places to eat outside of the big chains so If you're not hitting Solar's Pub and Grill, you are seriously missing out. This place isn't just good; it's a five-star culinary surprise attack, and you need to get in there.nnFirst off, the establishment itself is comfortable and spacious. You're not crammed in like sardines, which is already a win. Now, let's cut to the chase and talk about the food, because that's where Solar's really shines.nnI don't care what you thought about ordering sushi at a pub and grill, because that mango sushi is pure, unadulterated deliciousness. Don't even question it, just order it. And then there's the Blackened Creole Chicken—holy hell, that dish is a flavor bomb. They're doing things with chicken here that should be illegal, it's that good.nnYeah, the service was a little bit slow, I'll give you that, but they had the right intentions. You can tell they're working hard, and frankly, when the food punches you in the face with that much flavor, a little wait is easily forgiven.nnSo, stop scrolling, start moving. Get to Solar's, demolish that mango sushi, and let that Creole chicken change your life. You won't regret it.
Yeah it was a nice Place waitresses are friendly Services pretty good who could have been better for a place like this and the person pays but overall it was a good experience
This place was absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious and we will definitely be stopping when we are back in town. It's really hard to find a good thin crispy pizza like they offer here!
