For my first time there my experience was good, good food and live music! I couldn't stay to listen the band but still I love live music and food and drinks! I'm thinking back pretty soon and enjoy the live music and all with my friend!
Such great food. Had the Philly cheese steak and was so good. Left very satisfied and full. Then on the way out I saw another table with a pizza and my mouth was watering again! Friendly waitress as well
Super cool vibe, awesome staff and delicious food - and they have live music - need I say more? Had a sampling of their appetizers and then some pizza and talk about yummy! Will be back for sure.
Giant pizzas and live music, how could you go wrong? Kind of a unique vibe, grungy yet clean. Some cool art work on display. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The band was unreal. Had a great time, Edmonton needs more places like this.
Great music! The food is so good! Tried the poutine I wish it had cheese curds instead, maybe it's not a NYC thing but honesty still really good. The pizzas are huge and great quality This is going to be our new spot.
Something was wrong fundamentally wrong with this pizza and I’m embarrassed the kitchen staff even sent it out for delivery. The dough was like an uncooked phyllo texture except for the burnt crust. Burnt flour flecks all over and the cheese wasn’t even fully melted… we ate two slices out of pure hangry desperation and tried to salvage the rest but it was not possible, ended up throwing the rest out :
Hands down best NY style pizza in Edmonton. Have been back here 2 other times to try the cheese steak and today had the Sausage and Pepper sandwich special. Have had nothing but amazing service and food. I highly recommend the mushroom and sausage pizza. Jerk sauce on either wings or cheese steaks. Will not be disappointed.
A new vibe on Jasper Ave - Finally! Walk into a rock/modern/pub feel. Where there's unique rock artist art and either rock/Punk music playing or live music. Sit in the action or closer to the window to still enjoy the vibe but can also converse with friends. Menu is small but mighty. What is on their is done right! From the meatball sub #1 photo, Philly Cheesesteak jerk style #2 photo, mozza sticks/fries#3 photo and New York style pep pizza #4 photo! They've perfected the dishes pictured with big portions, fresh ingredients and fair prices. Also pizza served by the slice right next door incase you just passing by on the way home. Note: They also have different daily specials on some of the menu favorites. Drinks were cold and tasty. Service was pleasant, efficient and accurate. It being such a new spot along with AHS policy/procedures to follow, it's tough to be 100%. I with all that being considered they did a great job! Safety first for employees and patrons. A breath of fresh air this spot! I have since returned in the short time SOHO has been open and I will continue to frequent this place!
Went to Soho for lunch to watch the Arsenal v. Man City match. Great bar! Clean with great decor in the room . Scottish bartender can't remember his name was awesome, friendly and attentive. Had a Philly steak sandwich that was also great. Will definitely be recommending to people and I look forward to checking out some live music here at some point in the future.
Always wanted to go here as it's a spot for Oilers fans and the owner on Twitter seems to be charitable and interactive with fans. It's actually much nicer on the inside. You'd think it wouldn't be from outside. Clean. Have really great specials. Seems like different days or games there is some sort of deal. Typical bar food but change of scene. I didn't find the staff to be too friendly, however. One of the staff I believe the manager, Mandy was amazing. It's like she made up for the rest of the standoffish servers. I don't want to name the particular one I am referring to on Google but she was avoiding us, slow and seemed like she didn't want anything to do with us. But it really effected the experience of feeling unwelcome.
