If I could give them less then a star I would. I tried to return the white converse below with a receipt from three days ago. They did not fit me a half size to big. The first girl went to go tell the other girl that the shoes looked worn in and that they would not do the return. The girl wouldn’t even give me her name but says the shoes were unacceptable for a return. I have never ever worn them a day in my life and got them from the store as they are. I wish I could shut the stores down honestly for how hard they made my day. Customer service said they couldn’t do the return because they could not override the stores decision, and their suggestion was to clean the shoe and try another store, how is it fair that I have to clean the shoes they gave to me as is. Please boycott the store if you can at least they do not deserve anyone business.
To SoftMoc Customer Care Team, Please just stop with your generic replies here. I emailed, and I called your customer service #. People who I spoke with simply said they will report this, and yet...what has been done? What's the issue you ask? Well, same as ALL of the other reviews here. Warranty not honoured! The store manager WILL NOT ACCEPT A DEFECT AS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT, even if you have worn it for just 1 day. I got a pair of Sorel Boots, and my daughter pulled the boot "lace" as expected in NORMAL usage, and it broke off. The store manager says, because you used it, it cannot be exchanged or returned. I asked her, if I bought a broken laptop, how would I know it's broken without opening the package and pressing the ON button. Also, I pulled out my phone and showed her that it's not what your website says. Your website says I can request a technical defect inspection. She says she is doing the inspection and doesn't think it's a defect. So please, please, please, no more generic reply. Escalate this, and replace the store manager, or I will find another way to expose how this store is breaking your warranty policies for SoftMoc on social media.
had same experience as other reviews. items in store are not kept in good condition, store staff do not care. ordered a pair of shoes to the store and upon trying it on once had to return it as my ankles were not supported and kept turning. it was the exact condition i received it in just days ago. she looked at it and asked me if it was worn outside, i said no it was unwearable. she said it cannot be returned because it looks like it’s been worn outside regardless. i asked her why she asked me a question that she had already decided on an answer for. terrible attitude and service, and has the nerve to say item was brand new when the socks on display right behind her look like they’ve been on someone’s feet for ten years. i would highly recommend to just try sizes on here and order direct from the brand or elsewhere.
The worst ever store! The worst ever sales assistants over there!!! It took them forever to get the online order ready for the in-store pick up. She don’t know the name was extra rude and inconsiderate. Didn’t even give a plastic bag to put the shoebox in! When I asked for a bag, she rolled her eyes and said they don’t have any bags left. Seriously, what kind of customer service is this? How can these people still work there and serve the community? The store should reconsider its staff if they really care about their customers.
Worst customer service and attitude from employees. Wow after reading everyone's reviews I am not wrong. I came with a senior to buy them shoes. They had "mismatched" shoes. Couldn't find other pair. And on top of that they continued rolling eyes. Another few customers were there also super annoyed. One customer looked at me and said - it's like they don't want to sell shoes here.
Horrible customer service. They do not uphold to their warranty nor do they have good customer service. The manager is not polite nor professional. She seems like she is on a power trip, when I asked for her name she replied by saying that, "I'm the store manager." The previous manager was amazing. Do not waste your time here. READ PREVIOUS COMMENTS, people are not lying. Even after calling customer service, nothing is done, they basically just say sorry and there is nothing they can do. Customer service even suggested for me to go to another Softmoc store to see if I could return an item due to a manufacturer defect. A new winter boot should not break after one day of wear. If they were truly "trained" to notice a manufacturer defect they would uphold to their own warranty. After contacting Cougar shoes, their trained staff have determined that it was a manufacturer defect and honored their warranty. Both store manager and the customer service representative at Softmoc did not uphold to their so called warranty. This is unacceptable! An apology to my 10 year old daughter for accusing her of lying and breaking the boot would be nice.
We tried to pick up an online order that was ready to pick up according to the email received from the store. When we made our trip there, it was locked because there were not lights in the deposit, however we told the employees inside the store that the order shouldn't be in the back, since it was supposed to be ready for picking up. They didn't want to listen, and we wasted our time.
If i could give less than 1 star I would. I used to love softmoc, they were always helpful. Today I went in and they only have 1 person working the entire storenothing was her fault and I asked if I could measure my son’s foot myself. She responded her store doesn’t allow sizing anymore because of Covid! How do you buy kids shoes without measuring first. Soft moc- do better. At least sportchek put stencils of foot measuring on their floors for Covid! Thank goodness for kiddie kobbler they are always amazing with kids.
I bought shoes and only I wore for 15 . unfortunately quality shoes is very bad and don’t replace for me.
Well Im here to write the review about what i had experienced at this store in hillcrest mall todayJan9,2023 but after I read the other reviews i dont think I will need to explain anything anymore. It was just the same!!!! the problem now is not the people who are working there anymore but the management!!!! Same problems keep continuing months after months yet you are taking NO ACTION !!! I will not buy anything from softmoc again even after the phone call with the head quater they sent me 20% off offer you are not the only one selling shoes out there.
