Great food and can’t beat the view. Definitely need to invest in Patio heater
The fresh oysters were delicious, the Calabrian prawns cooked perfectly and the sauce sang with spicy peppers. When I said I don't like cocktails too sweet, my server recommended one that featured grapefruit gin, grapefruit juice and lychee - spot on. Service was excellent, prompt and professional and both my server and the owner were friendly and solicitous. I was eating on my own at the bar and they made me feel right at home. Highly recommended.
Ok. So this is why I’m Glad I’m moving back to Alberta. First off $4.25 for a ginger ale. Secondly $25 for a small portion. Which they call a large with 3 meat balls. So to start I’m not Italian. And those meatballs were dry. The sauce had zero flavour. And the noodles with the sauce tasted like alphagehtti. No joke. First time is the last time I’ll try this place. And a rating of 3 was high. To boast your an Italian place should of knocked my socks off.
I have been here for coffee, supper, a beer and an appy, AND for cookie decorating. The atmosphere is upscale, elegant but still manages to make one feel at home. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The wine list is outstanding. The food is mouthwateringly delicious. Love that it’s run by locals and the view is breathtaking. Highly recommend.
Amazing food !!! One of the best and lively , yet upscale place in Penticton. The staff was excellent and very cordial, starting from the greeter to our sever Damien, he was amazing . Even though the place was so busy , the staff was very patient and always smiling !! The food was very well made and well served. Thanks for such a wonderful experience, highly recommended, will come back again.
Great lunch today! Everything was amazing. We had the burrata and the prawns!! So delicious. We ordered extra bread because it was so good dipped in both dishes!! Excellent service too, I think he said Damon? Definitely be back next trip!
The best restaurant I have been to this year. What an amazing new addition to the Penticton restaurant scene. Modern decor, fantastic drink menu, a phenomenal menu and great service. I am already craving more of the Polenta fries … they are unreal! The Barata salad and the mushroom ravioli were also delicious. Can’t wait to come back!
We have loved special occasion meals at Villa Rosa, so we thought we'd give the team's new restaurant, Sociale, a try. Very glad we did and happy to have another quality restaurant in our lovely town. Where Villa Rosa was quite formal in feeling, Sociale is much more relaxed, but with similar although more limited food options. The location, overlooking the beach, is ideal and we'll definitely be checking out the patio next Spring/Summer. And when Villa Rosa returns in whatever location, we'll be ready for some truly special meals.
A very nice experience today with nice happy hr beer prices! Patio was a nice setting and Tyler is great as always and was great to see him again! One of the very best restaurant workers in all of the Okanagan! Had been awhile seeing him as I live in Kelowna and by fluke I stumbled into this place today and stumbled into Tyler again! Thanks!
