Absolutely terrible place to shop, produce is generally rotten or will be in a matter of days, it seems they allow their produce to freeze as many times I have come across icy items. prices are higher than everywhere, deli counter just piles your cold cuts in one massive pile then jams it into a bag. Meat counter cuts look like they are done at a school for the blind and handless. Cashiers have no sense of urgency, and considering they generally only have 1 cash open, you can spend over 15 minutes trying to cash out. I think the only thing they have right in this place is their frozen foods are frozen... I bought these strawberries today...
I have shopped this Sobeys for years and I enjoy for its diversity of products they have there. Their health food section is quite robust. They're a little more expensive than most though which is the only drawback for me. Staff there are friendly and helpful. The store is kept clean and it's definitely following covid guidelines. The potato scallion bread is amazing!
I love this store. The produce dept looks clean and fresh. The hot prepared food deli has some really tasty meals to go. Their bakery dept has delicious treats.

My husband and I went to sobies on Colborne Street today and we will never go back! Your prices are ridiculous. We went to get a pintys heritage turkey. We couldn't buy one as they were 70 dollars Really?..your store is totally confusing the way it is layer out. It took ages to fund what we wanted. Totally unhappy!!!
Today May 15/22 I went to the Deli Department for Lunch Meat. Had the GREATEST EXPERIENCE! The young lady waiting on me was kind and super polite. The Cold Cuts were layered in the package not just a handful of Meat stuffed in the bag. Ayden you know what Customer Service is all about. I hope Sobey's realize your abilities. Definitely 10 out 10 in my books.
Bad experience first time going. Store is nice, employees are nice. But when it came to getting help from the meat department i had deli and seafood call for someone to come down twice and nobody came.. I waited 10 minutes, if they were on break, least they can do is put a note up instead of wasting my time. Will not be getting "help" from meat again. Was in June 28th at 7pm 2022. Lost customer.
They don’t take Cake orders for Friday, Saturday and Sunday coz they’re short staffed with Bakers, They don’t reveal this fact to the customers … Don’t trust them for birthday cake orders… They’re Stupid indeed. Their store manager Doug will give you all sort of lame excuses.
Clean store. Didn't like the set up of the store. Seems a bit pricy. Stuff ignores you unless you are at cash the cashier was very nice I've to say lots of parking
Any store where I can go to after hours I'll get liquor it's awesome for me, definitely 5 stars . Pretty sure it was like 930 I get my laker ice
