Even though this is the closest grocery store to us, we only use it if we're in a pinch. We'd rather drive across town to NoFrills.We've bought salad dressings before that had expired 3 months before we bought them. We blamed ourselves for that one, though they shouldn't have even been on the shelf.nnTonight we went in and the produce was disgusting. Every bag of onions I picked up had at least one moldy onion in it. There were a bunch of cucumbers that were sitting on top that had been broken or so moldy they broke. You can tell by the coloring just how long they've been there. And the crazy part is that there's always people working in produce.... Piling new stuff on top of the moldy stuff.nnWe tried to pick up some milks, only to find that they were leaking everywhere.nnThen at checkout, there was something slippery that I stepped in that almost made me fall. It seemed like a type of soap that someone dropped before purchasing. When I told the cashier she thanked me but then didn't do anything about it??? Maybe she did after, but considering I told her I almost fell because of it, you'd think there would be a bit more urgency.nnOn top of all of this, FreshCo's prices aren't even that good for what you get. We definitely get better deals at every other store in town. It's always crazy busy here, only ever seen a maximum of 3 check outs being open despite lines having a ton of people in them, and the store isn't kept very clean, which should be a priority for a place you buy food from.
Absolutely unacceptable. Coming to shop on the weekend only to find most of the grocery shelves empty has become a frequent issue at this location. A store should be properly stocked for peak shopping times, but this continues to happen over and over again. Very disappointing experience.
Sadly this location has gone downhill in the last couple of years. It's dirty inside. The vegetables are almost all rotted. Most of the products I been buying have been either replaced with name brands that I dont buy or the products I want are now not being sold at this location. Saturday mornings the whole store is filled with employees stocking products and it makes it harder to get around the store because the staff have all the isles filled with carts to fill the shelves. Do that at night like the other stores and not while the store is open. I only go to this location now for my perscriptions. Love the pharmacy staff.
Good prices. Find the parking lot and the check outs are always a zoo.nnI always go for an item or two, but never seem to have express open or they have 2-3 checkouts open so every line if long. So, expect to spend more time standing in line than actually shopping. If you want a quick shopping trip avoid this place.nnI suggest hiring more people so you can open more checkouts and take baskets back. Being someone regularly on the job banks I have never seen a job ad. Also paying a living wage for full time employees would help retain them.
I can't say enough good things about this FreshCo! The team here is incredible! Always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in their work.nnDave runs a fantastic store, and it's clear that his leadership fosters a great work environment. Ethan is an outstanding employee, consistently going above and beyond. And Bill, what a legend! I hope to see him here until the day he decides to retire.nnWhen I talk to employees like Ethan and Bill, it's a perfect example of what a workplace should be. They take just as much pride in the store as Dave does, and it truly shows in their service.nnIf there's a round of promotions coming up, I'd absolutely vouch for Ethan, Bill, and the blonde lady who’s usually at express checkout, they all deserve it!!nn- Mr. Watson
