Sobeys - Rocky Mountain House

Beware that Sobey's in other locations do not accept returns from this Sobey's, even with the receipt, even if they carry that product themselves, and yes, it was a non-perishable item in original undamaged packaging for no other reason then that they are franchisees. They do not post this policy anywhere, not at the tills, not at customer service, not on the receipt. Do not be deceived like I was that they are a chain with oversight for what happens in their stores. All concerns/decisions are in the hands of individual store managers. Do not buy anything from here you might have to return outside of Rocky.

Love Sobeys and shop every week here have always had great cashiers, but today when I went to the till the young cashier was talking with the other young cashier and when she seen me she rolled her eyes as if to say really. Not pleasant at all. Seemed like they were all chatting it up with each other. I was very disappointed.

You sold my dad 2-3 year expired food. This company isnt even in business anymore! You guys don't check dates nothing apparently?? I've gotten non dairy products expired for months so I'd be careful buying anything here that isn't being re stocked a lot because having 3 year old expired food shows someone's not doing their job....

usually sobeys is a very nice place to shop but a couple days ago i went in to get groceries and went to a young ginger girl with glasses at checkout. she was so rude and rolled her eyes like i was invading her conversation with another employee. hopefully management sees this and sorts it out.

I ordered a cake from the bakery for my son’s 2nd birthday, I let them know my theme was tractors and green and yellow and then said they had creative freedom with those ideas . They did absolutely phenomenal! The cake was amazing and decorated perfectly ! They put a lot of thought into the idea and exceeded my expectations. If you need a cake and want it to be amazing for a decent price go to the Rocky Mountain house Sobeys bakery! You won’t be disappointed!
