New member and not impressed with the lack of maintenance on machines multiple treadmills not functional, some weights are out of balance, uncomfortable tears in padding, ropes must be replaced, labels missing on weights. Positive is that even at busy hours I don't seem to have to wait long for a machine and staff are friendly.
Don’t get a gym membership here. Got a membership 2 months ago and was charged FOUR TIMES. Twice in less than a week. Called to get a refund and due to not using it as often and was rudely told “that’s not our problem.” UH YEAH IT IS WHEN YOU CHARGE SOMEONE FOUR TIMES. Yes it’s on us for not going but your gym is HIGHLY unsafe and I’ve had rude people come at me there before and NOTHING was done about it. Snap fitness is MONEY HUNGRY. also if you want to cancel your gym membership it has to be through email…cause that makes sense. Just buy your own equipment from dollarama or something, don’t waste your time or money on this gym…unless you want to get ripped off and not refunded.
love the gym. never too busy, can always use the machines i need. large variety of machines. Hired a personal trainer to start off and was not disappointed with the results. he was very knowledgeable and helpful to getting me to where i wanted to be. i would strongly recommend this gym to anyone who wants to get fit or just loves to workout .
Charged 20$ more a month then advertised, with no notice! And continued to charge me for 4 months after I had called to cancel twice! They now are refusing to reimburse me! Very shady business strategy, fraud if you ask me!!! Not recommended
This gym is great but, the only thing is the age because my kid is 14 and he cannot even be there on his own. Plus, my kid doesn’t like it because I work and I can’t always be there with him .
This is by far the best gym in town! It's like a second home to me. I joined in 2011 and I've lost 100 lbs thanks to everyone being so welcoming and encouraging.The owner, Allister welcomes everyone at Snap and helps them as best he can. I'm proud to say that I now work there and I'm part of an amazing team

This by far is the best gym I've ever been a member of. The owner Allister Beauchamp is very much part of the gym and his members making everyone feel like family. He is very encouraging and supportive having already helped many people in our community enjoy and better, healthier lifestyle with the many hours he dedicates every year with The Biggest Loser competition he runs every year. The family treatment not only comes from the owner but is extended from every member of his staff. Apart from this the best part I love about this gym is their involvement in the community. I still remember the first time I met with Allister the gym was not even ready to open yet. I was their to see him for support with the girls hockey association in Rockland. It didn't take him much convincing and was there to help us out with a local tournament we were organizing. This hasn't changed as he is constantly involved with the community in many ways throughout the years. This is another major reason I love this gym. Couldn't ask for any better. If you live in the Rockland area and looking to make a difference in your life I highly recommend joining the Snap Rockland gym. Come join the big family we are very welcoming.
Snap Fitness Rockland is a fantastic gym with the most friendliest and helpful staff. They actually care about your fitness goals. They run various types of activities to motivate the competitor in you. I joined this gym nearly a year ago and was extremely over weight. With their help and experience, I managed to loose more than 35 lbs. I'd highly recommend anyone thinking of signing up to a gym in the Rockland area to sign up with Snap Fitness. It's not just a gym but a family!!!
