Came for breakfast and were so impressed. I had the two egg breakfast with bacon and ...
Beer was good, service was a little slow but they had plenty of servers. Was a little warm inside with it being a warm day and they were brewing beer which I think added quite a bit of heat. Cool industrial/factory vibe. Clean bathrooms. Recommend the pretzel and queso dip, very good. Party of 6, they automatically throw on the 20% tip which I would have gave anyway.
Good selection of beer. Had the Pako IPA which had a nice hop and bitterness profile. Also tried the snake river pale ale which was smooth. Food was average. The Big Hole burger with fries. The bun was oversized for the burger and eben with removing some of the bun, the burger was dry. The chili was flavorful, moderate spice and the cranberry Gorgonzola salad was fresh and not over dressed. Atmosphere was somewhat noisy but also quite busy.
The smoked trout dip was horrible, all you could taste was smoke flavor, so overpowering. The beers pretty good and the fried fish is too but all of the food was fairly over priced. The building is pretty nice and new and they could easily afford it because look at the markup on this food yo
Great place for beer, food, and atmosphere. Liked it enough to go twice on our 3 day trip. Pretzel was buttery and soft like a croissant. Bison chili was thick and threw some respectable heat. Did a flight of beers and all were refined and we'll executed. Also, you just have to love when you go to a brewery and you can actually smell the mash. Now I know why when we tried to go last year there was an hour wait to get in and we decided to skip. I'm sure we'll go back on our next trip to JH.
This was our first stop in Jackson and it set the bar high. Pretty good brews and a decent selection as well. The food was great. Our service was a little lacking but it was pretty full and we did have a large party so maybe that had something to do with it. I think our table got just about everything on the menu but I personally tried the chili so goooood but spicy beware, smoked trout dip seriously yum, and the walnut Gorgonzola salad.
Really great spot to relax and enjoy a decent beer and food. Located near downtown Jackson, this brewery is walkable from most of town. It has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have live music and outdoor games like cornhole. The beer selection is okay. They have all the mainstays you’d expect, but don’t branch out as much as other breweries their size. I was disappointed by their Hefeweizen, but their sour was pretty good. The food is pretty good. We shared the pretzel and a watermelon salad. The salad was good, but we wished they’d mentioned the arugula base on the menu. The pretzel was fine but the cheese sauce felt cheap. You can see the sheen on it in the attached picture. Service wasn’t very good. The hosts didn’t know simple questions about the beer they sell to go. Our waitress barely acknowledged us when serving us. She was dealing with a few tables but was not busy enough to justify mediocre service.
Really nice place. Great beer and food. One of the best corn bread I’ve ever tried. Definitely would go again.
Great Brewery and amazing food menu! I got their Bison Chili and it didn’t disappoint! Extremely flavorful and the cornbread was a great side! The staff here is extremely helpful and well knowledgeable about all the beers they provide!
Love this place. Casual spot with great food and a large selection of beers. Food was beyond what we expected, we tried the bison burger, cobb salad, nachos and spicy elk sausage. Would definitely go back!
Great selection of beer if you're a hardcore beer lover like us! The food was also top notch. The Smoked Trout Dip was the best I've ever had- we ate it so fast I didn't get a pic
