Smshbrgr

Tried the Oklahoma Onion Smashburger and it was ready pretty quickly. The burger was made well with a smash patty crust, cheese, thin onions, their house sauce, and soft brioche bun. Solid burger but lacking in a strong beef flavour. There was a bit too much sauce for my own preference so it felt a bit too wet and overpowering. Nevertheless, a solid burger. Smshbrger seems to be a pop up during the weekends that is open at Munchies stall in the food court. Nice people too.

Was craving a juicy burger and Smsh Burger did not disappoint! Their chilli fries was also delicious, definitely has some heat to it - which we are not complaining. Found our new favourite burger joint Food: 5/5

HIDDEN MARKHAM GEM Alright once we stepped inside this place it doesn’t look like much but it doesn’t matter, the burgers are too good! Yes there is a wait about 15 - 20 mins but it’s worth it! We both ordered the OKLAHOMA ONION SMSHBRGR and CLASSIC POUTINE. You have the option to have a single, double or triple patty. Let me tell you this burger had so much FLAVOURRR! The infused flavour of the onion, softness of the patty and that brioche bun, cmon now. Also 100% Halal too. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Honestly the best burger I have ever had. I don't say this lightly as burgers are one of my favorite foods I've tried many different types and restaurants. They nailed the signature burger. I recommend the double patty for a well rounded flavour. Not heavy or greasy and perfectly finished juicy but crispy smashed patties that are not dry or burnt. The sauce they have added something to it that just hits. The beef bacon is delicious. The chili burger was pretty good if that's your thing. The smash burger fries are amazing and fully loaded. I recommend getting a side of pickles to add on top. I have yet to try a milkshake but I've heard great things about the biscoff. To top it off it's not insanely over priced and the service has been unmatched. They are always generous and willing to go above and beyond. A true Markham hidden gem I actually eat here weekly, sometimes twice in one weekend because it's just that good. That is the challenging part is they are only open part-time on weekends Fri-Sun. I'm hopeful they may get a full time location soon.

-Hazelnut Milkshake: good, worth the price. -Chili Cheese Smshbrgr: was not great and not worth the price. You could go to McDonald’s and order one of their flat cheeseburgers, add on jalapeño peppers from home and it’ll taste/look similar. -Classic poutine: tastes the way a poutine should. Had a lot of cheese and fries, not enough gravy— definitely not “smothered”. Ok pricing. Pictures attached.

Amazing halal smash burger! Visited this place a few days ago and I have to say I’m so happy that we now have a halal smash burger spot. The burger is flavourful and they add just the right amount of toppings. The cheeseburger fries though might have been my favourite part!

Very fresh and saucey smash burger! Bun was really fresh, meat was well seasoned and good taste, pickles had a good kick, good insulated foil wrap to keep my burger warm, good size patty to bun ratio, sauce was just right with the amount and flavor. Got my food fast. Keep it up guys! Definitely would recommend! Food: 5/5

Opening on the weekend, and presumably run by the same owners of Munchies, comes SMSHBRGR. I’ve ordered from here a few times now, and every time has been pure mouth bliss. The burgers are piping hot and delicious, cooked to perfection more often then not, the fries are well-seasoned, but this burger steals the show in all respects. SMSHBRGR is a must-stop Markham burger joint, and exemplifies how burger joints should evolve, without giving up their entire OG menu.

Great burgers and seasoned fries. You walk up and order, so I'm unsure why they ask for tips. It's dumb. But the burgers are good. It's a small food court, and so I love the vibes. Please don't ask people for tips when you charge premium prices for a burger, and I'm walking up to you to place my order and pick it up when it's done. Also, she forgot to give me ketchup with my fries.

This place is a hidden gem. They only open Friday to Sunday. My wife and I tried the Oklahoma Burger and my kids tried the signature burger. We all enjoyed the burger here. Flavourful and cooked just right. We also got the poutine and it was also great. Will definitely return!!Food: 5/5
