Smokin Fire Fish

I had been craving poke bowl and this hit the spot. I got 1949 bowl and my husband got Seoul bowl. We both got it house style, which came with lots of yummy toppings. The Korean fried chicken was also very good. The service was friendly and food came fast. We enjoyed every single bite!

Wish I had discovered this place sooner. Probably one of the best places I’ve tried in Portland for takeout. Haven’t tried the Poke yet, but the chicken katsu, the shoyu chicken, and the Hawaiian pork have all been delicious. Highly recommend!

Smokin Fire Fish is THE Hawaiian restaurant in Portland. It was Hawaii in Portland!! Poke was delicious. Kids got the meat platters and they loved it! Kalua pork was very moist and soft. I liked it much better than the ones from an Luau. And Bulgogi was perfectly marinated for one of our picky eaters.

This place fills your heart and your stomach. An all time favorite restaurant. I've tried the entire menus and it's all phenomenal.

One of my favorite Hawaiian places is back and sharing space at Tamale Boy’s. Slightly smaller menu then before but still top quality. I ordered the loco moco for takeout and it was delicious, maybe the best I’ve had. So glad this is open again. I hope they expand their hours when COVID restrictions ease up.
