I've been eating here since 1985. Egg salad & hot pastrami are among many excellent sandwiches. The teriyaki options are great. Tell Andy that Bruce sent ya. Open 11am to 7pm daily

Came during the lunch hour, minimal wait time. The person working the counter was extremely friendly. They had a ton of orders being completed by door dash, but I still received my food in a timely manner. I ordered the Famous Tickler and it was delicious. Presentation was nice and very generous serving size. Overall, great food.

Food is very good, Large portions. Unfortunately the overall operation is a bit chaotic. People in line to order were mixed with people waiting to pickup online orders. Nobody was quite sure where to get in line or if they should even be in line. The result was slow service. Perhaps when Covid is over they'll be able to improve the flow

I ordered the tofu veggie teriyaki plate. The teriyaki sauce was very tasty, and there was lots of it, so it made the entire plate delicious. The rest of the dish was pretty average. Bland veggies, and plain white rice. But for such a cheap price, not bad.

Good sandwiches and great service. People in the neighborhood seem to love this place, and so did I.

This place is never disappoints! Been coming here for 20+ years. The bread, the quality ingredients. Everything about this place is fantastic. If you haven't had a sandwich from Taste Tickler you're missing out!

My number one sandwich spot, always delicious, great ingredients great bread, and pleasant staff. Don't hesitate on getting that Phill steak!

best grinders in portland! hands down! it's not even close! just typing this is making me hungry!
