Saeng Thai House

Probably one of the best Thai places I've ever been to. The customer service was attentive and kind and the food was spectacular. Everything is sort of takeout style right now, but it makes it very easy to bring home leftovers.

This was my first experience having Thai cuisine. I wouldn't have wished anything better for my first experience. I ordered a special pad Thai basil with tofu. The quantity and quality were both good. They have a spice levels from 1 to 5. This place cannot serve more than 5-6 ppl in dine in. Please be careful, foods served are hot.

Typically I love this place. I always get chicken and shrimp pad Thai and it’s been my favorite so far. However tonight when I got to work and opened the takeout I ordered I found little black hairs all in my food more than one. Super disgusted and disappointed! 15 dollars in the trash :

A really wonderful Thai food restaurant.. Everything is always fresh, very clean, tasty and affordable!

Their Special Pad Thai with basil is delicious! One spice level is perfect for my taste. It was a nice amount of spice, but nothing too crazy. It’s maybe a little bit less than Sriracha level of spice if it was on a scale.

I used to frequent The Vientiane market for the best pad thai in Portland. That title now belongs to Saeng Thai. Lovely folks and amazing dishes.

got take out, ordered something i’ve never gotten before and for 12$ thought i’d be getting a little bit more! didn’t know that not getting the rice was 3/4 of the meal not pleased at all, and will probably never go again thanks

I had drunken noodles for lunch. They were delicious. They have a really nice feature to define your spicy level on a 1-5 scale, which is really helpful when you aren't quite sure how spicy your dish will be. Dine-in wasn't available because of covid, I'll look forward to going back once they open up!
