Best crêpes in town! Update: best Benedicts in town, as well!

Save yourself a headache and go to rickys down the street. Ive had multiple bad experiences here but i keep trying to support the local guys. Only reason that we continue to go back is the one server who helps on Saturdays. She is amazing. Other than her the service is absolutely horrible. Short staff is no reason to ignore a dad and 2 little boys. Who have been coming in for years. Sad to see a place in such shambles. Wont be open for long.

Excellent. Our server we usually like to get is always so friendly and always on everything. *If you see this your name begins with a C and ends with a E*. You're an absolute delight and we love to show you how much we appreciate you as a person and a server.  The food is always amazing and tasty and comes out within a timely manner.  Foods we ordered. Meatlovers skillet. Penne Alfredo.  And a poutine

Food was hot and good ,apparently short on floor staff , none the less our waitress was excellent. The restaurant could use some new ceiling tiles. All in all a great family restaurant .Food: 4/5

Seeing as the coffee shop across the street was busy I decided to head to Smitty’s to pass the time while I waited for my car to be repaired.   I haven’t been to a Smitty’s in close to 30 years and I don’t remember them being any good back then so I didn’t go in with any expectations.  I ordered their lunch special - roast beef sandwich.  My mistake.  I should have ordered eggs or something that is on their regular menu.    So when the waitress asked me how the food was, I had to think about it.... compared to most restaurants it was horrible.  But based on the fact that this was a Smitty’s I figured it was on par for what I expected so I said it was... “okay” but really... who would settle for a just “okay”?  She walked away and then after a while dropped off a bill without saying a word.  The sandwich sat there untouched for nearly an hour.  Now granted this is not a Michelin star restaurant. But I would expect that you would check in on your table if the food sat there untouched for an hour.   So I got up and left. Not a word about the food or service or anything was spoken. Just two eyes over a masked face handing over a credit card terminal.  So about the food.  The roast beef was cut with the grain and  hardened like jerky.  The onions were well undercooked. But my main concern was how the gravy had congealed and had large dark semi translucent clumps.

Clean environment, fast and friendly staff, great great food. Affordable prices. Ordered Western Skillet and Eggs Benedict. Loved everything about them. Thanks so much for the great breakfast.

I enjoy coming here. Staff are always friendly, and obviously get to know a lot of their regulars. The food is simple, but done well and priced well.

Enjoyed So-cal eggs Benny with poutine hashbrowns, scrambled egg breaky and bacon Denver omlette with the family. Great service, great food.

We went in knowing that they were short-staffed there was posted signage. We didn't have to wait even though it was Canada Day and we thought it might be busy after the parade. The staff were lovely and the food came out quick. The only reason for the 3 star is that the food was pretty mediocre and not presented in a way that was appetizing. It was edible though!

Burnt food, slow and poor service  We tried out the local Smitty's, thinking that we could rely on the consistency of a chain restaurant to produce an acceptable quality of food and average service.  Instead, we were served several breakfast dishes that had burnt and dried out food. While the service was friendly, we were left alone with our food and our waitress did not check in on us during the meal.  I would recommend trying out one of the other options for your breakfast.
