WONDERFUL MEAL!! AWESOME SERVER ,she always had a smile !! All the meals we ordered were GREAT .. when kids eat everything and say how wonderful it was .. we have found THE PLACE fish and shrimp not OVER BATTERED.. done just right!! The FRIES were even great the next day!! Will definitely be back for more!!! I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO sit and enjoy a meal just once!! KEEP IT UP!!

Love it here lots of options for anytime dining . Had yam fries, onion rings, vegetarian burgers . They have lots of drinks and bottomless pop,ice tea . Its along the island highway in parksville . Thier close to tigh-na-mara hotel and other hotels in area . Its got a relax non rushed atmosphere. Tv's &bar etc . I added menu's in the pictures below Vegetarian options: Great had vegetarian burgers its homemade style and comes with fries or substitute it with salad or soup

It was my client's birthday and I wanted to treat him to dinner. He had the fish/shrimp and chips which is a big meal and I had a one piece fish and chips and we were very happy with our meals. Coleslaw is important to us and it was good. So many restaurants have awful coleslaw, don't seem to think it is important. Their french fries are good also, also tartar sauce. I have another client's birthday coming up and he is bedridden and loves fish and chips so I will be getting takeout for him from Ricky's. I was trying to think of where the best place to get it for them here might be and this made up my mind. We have had a couple of not so good experiences there in the past but lately everything we try is very good and service is good as well.

Awesome dinner and dessert! We had 2 orders of the cod & shrimp. perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. Even the fries were great, and the seafood sauce has just enough "zing" to it. Servers were really nice and friendly, with just the right amount of humour - they sized up our group just right and we had a few laughs. Also, we sat right by the kitchen which would normally be not such a great thing, but in this restaurant you could hear the staff all joking and getting along which added to the atmosphere. I also heard one of the servers reject someone else's disk because something wasn't right. That my friends is quality control. The cheescake dessert deserves a special mention here too. Go to this restaurant, pretty sure you'll enjoy it!

I often phone and check in on my 82yr old Father. Today he shared with me his several heart warming experiences at this restaurant. One day while greeted at the door, he said table for one, and the greeter could tell something was bothering him, and so she kindly asked. He explained that his wife of 50 years has been hospitalized. The greeter and the waitress made his day by giving him a hug. You simply don’t hear enough stories like this anymore and it’s great knowing that heart warming people like this continue to be themselves and make a difference for others. Thank you…and please keep being you.

Young lady at the front who seated my party was very welcoming and helpful. However, our waitress was abrasive to the point we were counting how many comments she was making that was negative towards our party. Our food took over 40 minutes, it was typical fare. The soup spoon that was given was extremely dirty... coated in what looked like dried on cheese...surprised that our waitress didn't check before placing. I doubt that we will return.

I find Ricky's to be lately pretty hit-or-miss. I've certainly had some good meals there before and actually one of my favourites was the Califresco salad. But the time before last when I ordered it there were missing several ingredients. And then last time I ordered it I guess they were out of all of the ingredients and just try to give me another salad all together. So if you do end up ordering a, best thing to do is check with them to make sure they have all of the ingredients.

Plenty of covid precautions in place with plexiglass between booths and sanitizer in place. The food was tasty and I had the chicken and avocado omelette. Wish there was a few more coffee refills. Service was otherwise fast and friendly

Food was very tasty: I had the Ginger Chicken Bowl. Presentation was colorful and appetizing. Friendly and attentive staff. Covid-19 protocols were followed, and restaurant is safe and very clean.

They are so accommodating. We're both doing Keto and never have a problem converting our order to Keto. Dietary restrictions: As previously stated.
