The burgers here are AMAZING. The patties are crispy on the edges without being dry, good toppings, and good sauce. They’re really filling. I’ve tried the Big Smash and the Signature Bacon Smash and I’d recommend both. The brownie was a bit too sweet for me.
Fantastic burger. A gem of spot in the area. Best burger I’ve had in Canada. Randomly decided to go here after leaving a hospital visit in a boot and checking the Google reviews of places nearby and this joint definitely delivered. Worth the one-footed walk!Recommended dishesSignature Bacon Smash
Delicious burgers and fried chicken! Perfect sear on the burger, chicken is juicy and super crispy. Def recommend buffalo sauce on the chicken. Great little spot!
Dave was such a delight, and the food was amazing. The burger I got the big smash was charred perfectly, the bun was soft, perfect amount of sauce. The poutine was excellent, and went well with the burger. What's not to like? The price is on par/average with regular burger places, but the quality here is planning to try the chicken burger next time!
Decent. Fills you up. But honestly for the same price there are bigger and tastier portions for the gourmet burger category. Unfortunately I don't recommend this place unless it's nearby to you.
WOW! So fresh..the bun is super soft and the patty is so juicy. I would say it's the best burger spot in the city! We also got their chilli fries chilli is made in-house , highly recommend it. The owner is very friendly as well! Definitely will be back and recommend everyone to try, you won't be disappointed.
Smash burgers are the ONLY way to eat fresh, tasty burgers. Do yourself a favour and find out why - go to Smash Pit. Besides burgers, the southern-fried chicken and poutine was delicious. Generous portions! Served exactly the way I like it. Enjoy!
Smash Pit has some delicious, approachable food. Fresh ground beef, soft buns, excellent chilli cheese fries and I’m not even a chilli guy. Go here, you won’t regret it.
A nice addition for home style grill in the area. The only disadvantage is that they are only open Tuesday to Friday. Maybe in the future they will be open on the weekends.
Quirky place… gourmet burger spot in an old Italian panini sandwich space. The decor is definitely confusing when you first walk in, but the smell of sizzling beef quickly gets your attention. Freshly ground blend of chuck and sirloin if I remember correctly. Cooked after I ordered, came piping hot. Delicious! Fries were typical frozen shoestring but cooked perfectly. I’m partial to fresh cut fries, but they are a lot of work and not always done right. Something owner might want to consider in the future. My first time there but someone came in who was clearly a regularly as the owner knew his order. Always a good sign! Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.
