Great customer service with friendly owners/servers. They have a couple of tables as most orders are take-outs. Price is very reasonable. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because the rice was not cooked well too dry, and chicken were also a bit dry. However I recommend to try out this restaurant when you're in the neighborhood.
Great lunch here. Unfortunately no indoor seating. But the food is amazing. Had the seafood feature special. Very well done. Next time i have to try the chicken. The staff was very helpful and nice to deal with. Highly recommend.
Great flavour on the chicken Large portions. This also came with a fresh garden salad. The salad was made with spring mix instead of ice burg lettuce. I went next door and got a custard tart. The tart was one if the best tarts I’ve ever had. Nice little patio beside the two stores.
Great spot for roasted chicken! The seasoning is on the salty side, but the chicken is very juicy and tender. The service was incredibly fast and the packaging kept the to-go chicken warm on the walk home. Will definitely be returning for lunch and dinner!
Placed an order for November 20 for 6 chickens for my baby shower. When my friend went to go pick up the order not only did they not have the order. After waiting 20 min the guy at the counter an aid there was a mix up and to wait 15 min. 40 min later he was told 2 more min and waited another 20 min after that. My friend waited for an hour for an order that was placed in advance days ago and was supposed to be ready for a specific time. As well I had over 60 guests hungry and waiting to start our meal. This was a restaurant that me and several of my friends that lived in the area frequented but that definitely won’t be happening in the future.
The chicken was flavourful and juicy. The roasted potatoes and rice were ok but could have used more spices. While not perfect, it was a pretty good meal and good value. Family meal $28
This is local Portuguese chicken place that my whole family loves. Best in Etobicoke hands down. The food is phenomenal and cooked to perfection. A real gem. The family who run it are generous, hospitable and really care about their customer. Try it out - you'll love it!
I ordered the Family meal- The chicken was extremely salty, the rice tasted old, and the potatoes were ok. A substandard meal. Family was unhappy. It was definitely not the worth the 45 minute wait for the chicken. Super disappointing. The staff is not efficient. Don't waste your time here. We won't be back.
This place has potential. If only the food quality would match the effort they put into opening the store it would be a hit. It was very ambitious opening during a pandemic times so I gave them at least 6 different orders to give an honest try. Sorry to say I'm not going to return.Food: 2/5
The owner was extremely gracious but very disappointed with the quality of the food. The vegetables were soggy and tasteless and they mixed up the order after I repeated it several times. The chicken was dry and not juicy as I would expect it to be. I wanted to support a local business but will need to wait for Best Portuguese Chicken to finish their renovation.
