Lone Star Texas Grill

Gotta say that I'm a veteran of the original Lone Star on Fisher... so maybe I'm a bit critical. The food was fine, the Margs were fine, the beer was fresh and cold, but the staff... dunno, maybe a bit too 'big city'. Anyway, nothing was wrong, nothing out of order, maybe just the atmosphere was a bit icy. Still, great food.

This is the second location I've visited in Ontario. Love the food and drinks. If you like sangria I highly recommend the White Peach Sangria.

I ordered a great tasting Cobb salad which was ready by the time requested. The staff were very plasant and I had a nice conversation with them while my takeout order was being prepared. Order directly from the restaurant instead of using delivery apps if you can help it.

Lone Star is great for informal and family dinners. The menu is mainly Tex Mex as you'd expect with very good fajitas, but also tasty ribs and fried chicken. It's fine for what it is and the service is typically cheerful.
