SmartStyle Hair Salon

I had a bad experience at East Hills Smart Style Hair Salon in Walmart. I had a root touch up done and noticed a spot was missed that wasn't covered and when I called in to speak to someone about it. The lady who answered was very rude and dismissive of my concerns and said that they can't do anything about it and that it had been 2 weeks when it hadn't and when I asked to speak to the supervisor or manager she told me to call in a couple of days for the manager and when I did speak to her. She didn't care either and said nothing can be done and is blaming me for not calling in before. Don't be like me and come here to save some money and pay for a service that isn't even done properly. Spend a bit more and get it done right and with better customer service.

Worst hair salon (if you can even call it that) I've ever experienced. Staff, service, everything about this place is bad. My friend and I came in for our appointment, stylist 1 (if you can even call them "stylist") asked what we wanted while he kept on mentioning how he just wants to go home and how tired he is then he started doing my friend's hair. Stylist 2 came up to me and asked what I wanted to be done then she just left me and went in front to the computer and did whatever she did. After 30 minutes another client comes in and she started doing that client's hair (at this point I am still sitting not knowing I am waiting for nothing). Another client came in asking if they have time for a haircut, stylist 2 just said "well I still have that" (pointing at me). After stylist 1 was done with my friend's hair, stylist 2 just said "you can start on her" (referring to me). I was so surprised at this kind of customer service that I just left. I don't understand how these people can run a business. DO NOT GO HERE! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!

I came into Walmart to do some shopping and discovered the Smart Style Shop! My hairdresser just retired after 20 years so I was in need of a haircut but was scared to death to let anyone else cut my hair! I went to the desk and inquired about a haircut and asked about walk in service. Mary Rose was at the desk and told me she could take me immediately. She was absolutely amazing! My haircut was so cute and she did such a great job but most important, she made me feel so comfortable and important! I don't live in Calgary, we live 3 hours away, we were down visiting family. Mary Rose will be my hairdresser from now on and we'll just have to come down and visit family every time I need a haircut!! Lol!!

The girls are amazing! Color washing out of my after less then a week and Mary got me back in to redo the color at my convenience and at not charge. So worth the drive from High River💜

Had appt prebooked , showed up on time and store was closed. What a waste of time!
