We travel to the area every year and make it a point to always stop at Small City Taphouse. My partner loves the sushi! Says it's the best he's had. I enjoy the vegetarian options. It is such a cool space and we have loved watching it grow. CLAG beer so good too!!
Small city taphouse has a special talent for brewing beer and a unique talent at making sushi. I was from out of town and they offered to serve me even though they were closing early. If you havent been to small city tap you should check it out! The beer has a smooth flavor and the waitress named Taylor
Amazing beer selection! Really great concept. Not good execution. The Las Vegas Roll was a hot mess see pic. The flat rice noodle bowl was a mixed bag of giant noodles and over-cooked meat. I’d come again just for the beer, not the food.
Great beer and whiskey selection. Love the concept of serving pan-asian food at a taphouse. Food was delicious. My only complaint is that the food came out quicker than the drinks.
I came with a party of 9 near closing time and our waitress was awesome. Their menu is HUGE! I got a yellow noodle soup with pork and shrimp and it was so good. If I am in town again I will be coming back
Food was incredible, beer was exceptional, and service was phenomenal. Cheyenne was very patient, as we weren’t in a hurry, & took care of our food and drink orders. I purchased several CLAG beers to-go. Wish I would have asked for brewer or owner signatures on the cans for my friend. My 14 y/o daughter tried the Seafood Pho shrimp, scallop, & squid with me, and the Dos Yellow Kiss Roll tuna, salmon, himachi, escolar, sea bass, shrimp, caviar, spicy mayo, & eel sauce is highly recommended.
We stopped in here for a late dinner after a full day at Cedar Point. The restaurant is very open. The main room with the bar is extremely large. The decor was nice but a little too open. The menu is mostly sea food and sushi. They had lots of beer choices. Everyone seemed to like the food they were served. I had the shrimp and scallops. It was good but I thought the flavor was too mild.
Flag Brewing Company / Small City Taphouse is a great place for drinks, dinner or snacks. The service was great. The beer we had was great. Appetizers of Vegetable Spring Rolls with peanut sauce and Crispy Shrimp. Main course for both of us was the Orange Chicken. All very good. We were very pleased. We went there because of a gift card. It’s a great place. We will be back. Large indoor seating area. Large bar. Large selection of beers. Large menu selection. Very much enjoyed our dinner on 4/25/2023.
What a fun place. The sushi and beer options are legit. Our server was pleasant and took care of the necessities, but the service was a little lean otherwise. - I don't blame the server... It appeared they were short staffed, as are so many these days. They get a pass from me on this front. Overall, a very good experience and we plan on going back.
I am absolutely blown away by this place.....great big layout that doesn't ever seem too cramped, the beer selection is stellar, the food is to die for. To be transparent, it is a bit pricey but also to be honest it is worth every penny. Some of the best Asian inspired foods I have ever put in my mouth. Will definitely be back many many more times. There are so many options left on the menu to try.......
