When I lived in Ohio, I visited this location a number of times. Since then, not much has changed. The interior and service remained unchanged. Our server that evening was excellent. She was energetic and engaging. The Ninja Turtle Drinks were fantastic. I recommend giving them a shot. This time, we did not sit at the grill, which is okay if you have previously enjoyed that experience. The sushi took a little longer to arrive than the entrees we had ordered but everything was good.
Colleen is an AMAZING server. We had such a good experience. I loved the sushi. Got two rolls, but my first one I ate so quick I forgot to take a photo. Highly recommend the Dynamite roll. One of the best rolls I've ever had. My partner had the steak filet with rice, veggies, and three shrimp. My other roll I customized and it only cost me about $6 extra to get what I wanted. I spent around $8p here, but it was worth it. Amazing service. Great atmosphere. Fantastic server as well as kind sushi chef. I would love to come back to this place if I'm ever back in town. Highly recommend if you love sushi and you're traveling through.
I had a very nice meal here. I'd highly recommend the filet, the chicken fried rice, and the shrimp. The filet was thick, tender, and juicy. The shrimp was bite-sized and delicious. Other places don't normally add chicken to the fried rice, so that was an added bonus along with the excellent fried rice flavor.Food: 4/5
This is the best hibachi place in the area. The chefs are all great, food is fresh and delicious, good sushi, and good cocktail menu. We went on a Saturday and even though it was very busy the service was great. We highly recommend Samurai!Recommended dishesHibachi Fried Rice
We where a bit skeptical with the location because of poor lighting in the outside and wheren't sure it was open. But once you come in it's a completely different story. By far the best hibachi I've had in a long time, great portions, ok service, the cook was fun, great tasting food, and delicious yum yum sauce. I had the Sandusky deluxe meal, and Shaggy Dog sushi roll. Both where delicious and flavor full, definetly coming back. My husband and I had a great time and experiance for our wedding anniversary. Worth the price, we paid around 105.oo or more plus tip. Kid-friendliness: Its kid friendly, but you'll be upset that you paid all that money and they didn't finish all their food. Parking: Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: For anyone that wants to know, its wheelchair accessible coming in and plenty of space through the aisles.
Stopped in here for dinner and it was good. Sushi appetizers were excellent and the hibachi meal was good. They were down a cook, so things were slow, but the server was nice and kept us in drinks and the appetizers helped keep us busy. Once they started cooking, it went well and had fun.
We got there at 4 for a party of 14. We were supposed to have 20 but 6 people didn't show. We explained that to the host but they were slightly aggressive with their responses. The carpet is disgusting! My shoes were sticking to the carpet. It had a smell to the play and I couldn't quite figure it out what it was but now I strongly believe its the carpet. Service was good. Half the party had to wait to eat due to only 4 chefs. Didn't have to wait long though.
Enjoyed our ANNIBIRSARY having dinner 1st time here. Priceless place to come for birthday/Anniversary. Recommend try it
STAY AWAY!! For the amount this place charges you’d think they could give customers more than 1 container of yum yum sauce per person. This quality of food is extremely poor and not even close to being worth the prices they charge. Every time I have eaten here the steak is chewy as can be like a leather shoe and tastes funky. I mean it’d probably taste less bad if I could drown the food in yum yum sauce but I instead have to ration the tiny amount given to me by the drop…. $100 worth of food didn’t seem to justify maybe giving 2 whole containers of sauce apparently... You can get a better version of a hibachi meal almost anywhere else for so much cheaper as well! People who think this is good food don’t know what they are missing out on.
The grill cook was amazing. Prices and lighting could use some work.Food: 3/5
