Sleep Country

Our family bought a bed from sleep country two months ago. The sales associate wrote down the wrong address at the store and corrected the information. Three weeks ago Fairstone credit called us and said we are behind on our bill. We told them we never received a bill. We asked what address they had and the had the wrong address but the right postal code. Also never received a bill or account number. Store told us to call head office. For two weeks we have been in contact with head office. Spoke to three different customer service specialist at sleep county and explain a Fairstone was calling to collect money and want us to pay and that we are worried about this being a fraud. Fairstone actually hung up the phone on us when we asked to speak to a specialist. Finally got an answer from sleep country on the third phone call and sleep country took the responsibility as it was store error. Fairstone credit is still calling wanting us to pay a bill with interest as sleep country as said to wait to the matter has been settle. Still waiting to hear as of Nov. 1, 2017. Sleep country has offered us 100 in gift card but we will never shop again as sleep country as now we have a bad credit rating due to sleep country's error. I asked if the $100 could be put towards our bill and they said no we cannot. Defiantly not a good experience. We never shop at any sleep country store again. Michael Crowley
