Skeeter Barlow's Grill and Bar

Drove 45 minutes to forest to have lunch here as we really really liked this place when we stopped one other time. I had ordered a Greek salad and my husband a hamburger. Apparently our order got lost or something as it took an hour to get it to us. Not sure if it was cook or waitress fault but in my head I was blaming cook but re-thinking it could have been waitress who I gave a decent tip to. Other than apologies there was no other retribution for the long delay. I would have thought a business like this could have afforded to pass along a free lunch or a gift certificate for next time. We both found this to be extremely disappointing on all accounts. Maybe I was being too Canadian and didn't scream enough or just walk out like I wanted to!! If it hadn't been for my husband I WOULD have left!!!

I was there on a Sunday morning with a friend I hadn't seen in a long time . We just wanted to visit. For some reason we had two waitresses..who approached our table at least every minute and a half to see if we were ready to order After our food arrived the two girls came to the table about eight or nine times during our meal It was very very annoying. I understand they were probably thinking this is good service but it's actually the opposite. I realize that wages have gone up and Skeeters has a new menu and higher prices but wow. $14.95 for a tiny 3oz veggie burger that was half the size of the bread. $16.95 for a salad. I won't be back

We had a fantastic visit this time. Our waitress Nikki was fantastic and incredibly accomadating with my vegan requests. She even made suggestions that were AWESOME! Note to self, cucumber is awesome on nachos.

Always great food and such wonderful staff ......great sports and family dining in two areas to choose from.....and a great outside area in the summer.......

My daughter and her husband went all the time said food was awsome. We must have stopped in on a bad day. My husband steak was suppose to b med well n it was raw. We did not enjoy our meal . Service was good. We will stop in again we know the food is awsome. Atmosphere is so comfortable. And it's worth the drive from London.
