Cana China Restaurant

We ordered sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, chow main and chicken lo mein. We didn’t get any sweet and sour sauce and only two packets of plum sauce. We called letting them know of their mistake. They said we could come back and get the sauce or an extra sauce for free the next time. By the time it took for us to drive there and back the rest of the food would be cold. We asked if they could deduct the chicken balls off the bill. He said no. Then hung up on us Normally enjoy the food but the past few times we’ve had problems

We were excited to go for the buffet! Sadly food was awful, nothing seemed fresh, chicken balls were all dough tiny piece of chicken, beef was dry, tasteless food, and to top it all of they charged my 10 year old granddaughter full price, she eats like a bird, but is charged the price of a full grown man! Will not be returning.

Ordered a takeout dinner for 4. This was quite possibly the worst Chinese food that I have ever had. A previous reviewer’s comments regarding the chicken balls was spot on - they were large, doughy, with hardly any chicken. The beef with mixed vegetables was rubbery, stringy, and didn’t seem fresh. They didn’t even have any hot sauce and offered me some Sriracha sauce for an additional $2. This after I had paid almost $70 for the dinner! We ended up throwing most of the meal out as it was tasteless, bland, with subpar ingredients. The only positive thing I can say is that the portion sizes were good but that doesn’t mean much when the food is not tasty.

We had take out from here yesterday. Sadly it was not very good. The chicken balls were the size of tennis balls and almost entirely batter. The Szechuan beef was not spicy at all unless you bit into one of the whole peppers concealed inside, and then it was painful. I'm disappointed to say that by comparison to price, it may have been the worst Chinese food I've ever had.

We ordered 7 dishes last night. The food was amazing. Fresh and tasty. We liked the fact they could spice up the szechuan to our heat level. Also wanted to try something different and was given good idea on what to try. Also very impressed with they way they are handling the covid times. Felt very safe. You just earned new customers!!!

We ordered dinner for two "B" the other night and it was fantastic! Huge portions and it was even good reheated later. The new owners have done a terrific job. % recommend them

We ordered take out dinner for 4. My family enjoyed it, I did not. The chop suey with pork was mostly bean sprouts with no sauce just the water from the veggies. The battered shrimp were only partially deveined gross!. The veggies with beef was pretty good and the fried rice was basic. Chicken balls were ok. Cost was about $66 including tax. I wouldn't get it again

Dinner for 4 cost 74 dollars I asked for plum sauce and soya sauce I got 3 packs of soya and 1 pack of plum sauce .the chicken wings we over cooked to dryness. The veggie dish tasted like dirt in veggies .the pork chop suey tasted like mold in it. The egg rolls were full of air and no veggie in them .terrible tasting.the worst Chinese food ever.The owner lady was rude overwhelmed and confused when we picked up.I order 45 mins in advance and order wasn't ready. $74 dollars I do expect quality food.1 pack of plum sauce for 4 egg rolls.Do not recommend this place.The owner tried to play the Asian language ..me don't understand. We know her from sarnia she speaks fine English and so does her kids.NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

We my family have been purchasing our Chinese take out from Cana China for many years now; it has, for the most part, always been great. We have only had one incident: several years ago we ordered take out for 4; in doing so we asked if certain plates were gluten free and they assured us they were. To my daughters horror they weren't; as a result she suffered untold bowel pain for hours. They did apologize and offered her a free dessert right but the damage was done. To their credit I believe they are a lot more careful when offering "gluten free" plates. With that said, we still use Cana China and enjoy there friendliness and great food.

My parents went here when they were dating and my family still loves the restaurant to this day. They went through a bad spell with new owners but the old owners are back and the place is amazing again. I live in Oakville now but love returning home so we can take a trip to Cana China.
