I love this place! If you're looking for local jewellery, this is the place to go. They make all of their jewellery in house and use really good quality stuff. If you can't find what you're looking for they can custom make just about anything for you. My one stop shop for my personal collection and gifts. The ladies are so nice, you feel like you're among friends!
I have to say I took many classes at Skanda and thoroughly enjoyed them. Unfortunately , I sent my son in to purchase myself and him two pearl choker type necklaces, and dropped a few dollars. My son was treated terribly by the sales clerk. He and I were mortified. It is such a shame , I thought in 2017 people would be treated with more respect and not judged. I loved going in the store just for the ambience and to generate colourful ideas. I will not set foot in there again.
I've found that usually DIY places like this sell low-grade beads, but I bought a beautiful pearl necklace today that is exquisite and less than half the price of something I was looking at a year ago. The sales woman owner? was very patient with me and helpful with putting together my piece.
Best place for jewellery and gemstones hands down! Mary is incredibly talented, friendly and warm.
My wife and I stopped by Skanda and were welcomed instantly by the staff. There are some amazing finds in here for all price points.
