This unassuming bakery is on my way to work at the nearby high school. Buy local! My spouse is a picky baker. This business uses top-tier ingredients… and she noticed that immediately. I’ve already tried their chocolate cupcakes quality icing, mocha cake plate it, and let it warm up for best results, and 4 pc chocolate brownie the clerk wouldn’t sell us the display models [she cut them from a small tray]. Megan & crew’s final challenge = will their butter tarts meet my spouse’s expectations? Stay tuned…

Megan did an amazing job on my engagement cake. Not only did it look beautiful, but it tasted amazing. I had so many guest compliment on the taste of the cake. Megan was also quick to reply to any of my questions and followed my reference picture to a T! Thank you again!

First time ever ordering custom cake! Megan was super hopeful, and did not disappoint for taste and design! The two cakes was a hit at the party. So thankful it turned out great for my sons first birthday ! I ordered a vanilla cream cheese cake for my sons smash cake. And the two layer cake was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache buttercream and cookie dough buttercream.

My mom ordered a cake from Simply Yummy for my convocation. It was a wonderful way to celebrate and I thought the cake was beautiful! The decorations are three books with my programs of study, my university crest, and a grad cap that matches the one I wore on the day of. I'm so impressed with how elegant and realistic the decorations were I couldn't bear to throw them out when the cake was done, they lived in my fridge for over a week!.

After trying a few local bakeries with a picture of the cake I wanted for my daughter's 16th birthday, Megan was the only one who was able to make exactly what I wanted! Her attention to detail was amazing, and my daughter was THRILLED with the cake! Megan was so patient with the back and forth on colours, flavours etc. She was even able to accommodate last minute cupcakes I added to the order. Amazing service and delicious baked treats from Megan at Simply Yummy Bakery!!! I was so lucky to have found Simply Yummy Bakery prior to our wedding in 2016. Megan was so friendly and easy to communicate with, asking all the right questions to ensure our wedding cake and cupcakes were exactly what we wanted. Since then I have ordered baby shower cookies and a 6" birthday cake smash cake from Megan and it's the same service with a smile every time! We contacted Megan requesting a rush order for custom sugar cookies and she was able to complete it within 2 days, whereas all other bakeries required at least a week's notice. She went above and beyond in responding to emails in a timely manner after hours. The cookies exceeded our expectations in both appearance and taste. We would for sure go back to Simply Yummy Bakery in the future!

Great experiences time after time! I have gotten my last few birthday cakes from Megan and they have all been awesome! I've given Megan a picture to work with and she has been able to replicate the cakes flawlessly! They look great and taste even better! Have recommended to many friends and family!

megan made this super adorable league of legends cake for my best friend. honestly, best custom cake I've ever seen. the amount of detail put into each character was remarkable, and considering i only gave her an idea, and the pictures of the characters, with no other pictures of cakes etc., she did a phenomenal job. not to mention, the cake itself was delicious! definitely recommend 100% and will order from here again. customer service was also terrific.
