The second I stepped into this newly opened bakery I was transported to Paris The chic bakery and cafe offers the best sweet and savoury comfort food. I fell in love with the asparagus puff pastry and the sinful brownies. Mona Prasad the owner is so warm and welcoming. I wish her all the success and can't wait to return to it soon to try some more deliciousness
Best croissants I’ve had here. They are just like the ones in France .You can smell the butter when you walk in the bakery ! My new favourite place in Aurora.
Kudos to Mona Prasad, Woman Entrepreneur ! Today, was the Grand Opening of her amazing bakery - Paris Calling Pastry on Yonge Street, Aurora. The Gourmet pastries were absolutely delicious. The pastry for the quiche was light and flaky, it is truly Parisian The quality of the baked goods was outstanding. They were fresh and baked at the store. I really enjoyed the taste , quality and variety of pastries offered. I bought an assortment of pastries for my family and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. The young servers were so enthusiastic and provided excellent customer service. We are very fortunate to have a Patisserie of this calibre in Aurora !
Beautiful new bakery with coffee and tea! There's a nice sitting area and a big variety of goods to choose from. Everything we tried was so good, I regret not getting more macaron flavours. When we went the croissants were sold out, so we'll have to be by again soon to try those as well. The service was also very friendly, it was nice to see the staff excited. The location is also good, only 10 minutes away from Upper Canada Mall.
I stopped by Paris Calling Pastry last week and tried the plain Croissant. It was exceptional just like the Croissants I used to enjoy when I lived in Europe. The Almond Croissants looked good too and I hope to try them on my next visit. I would definitely recommend this place.
Such a lovely place! The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable about their baked goods. The pastries we picked out savoury and raspberry were so good! We will definitely come back : They also gave me a sample of their Marsala chai, and it was like a warm hug.
My husband brought home some delicious pastries as a surprise and let me tell you, they were unbelievable!! The brioche and apple tart were standouts. Would definitely recommend anyone in the area to stop by!
Paris Calling Pastry A jewel to be savoured is discovered in Aurora. Calling all “foodies and wantobes”! Recommended by a friend we visited “Paris Calling Pastry” and were greeted by Mona and her staff with an enthusiastic friendliness only surpassed by the almost supernatural gourmet flavours of the freshly baked pastries. We took advantage of the atmosphere by sitting in the indoor patio tables sampling products and enjoying cappuccino and tea. We were transported into another world by the true quality and flavours of this French Patisserie. As they say, “the proof is in the pudding”. We were overwhelmed and can’t overstate the delicate balance of taste and texture of the asparagus quiches, which by the way were baked fresh for us upon request because we wanted a few more than were in the display cabinet. Even our young teenage grandkids, known for being picky eaters, devoured everything. So refreshing to see a professional entrepreneur small business owner offering that level of service. Thank you Mona! We can also say that the large pear tart dessert was delicate and had that smooth taste of the finest mouthwatering filling and pastry. Needless to say the variety of croissants purchased disappeared in a heartbeat leaving us wanting more. Sooo delicious. We intend to place our order for more quiches to include with our Christmas Eve family dinner. Surely I missed my calling and would love to come back as a French Pastry Chef- but so grateful now to have such a boutique pastry shop right here in the Aurora neighbourhood. A perfect balance of gastronomic elegance for your table or as a invitation gift. Five Stars from this household. Ron and Georgie Allard
Just stopped in for a treat to go with tea this afternoon. Warmly greeted by the shop staff and offered a taste of their chai which was delicious! Took home the almond chocolate croissant, a choux pastry, brownie and cookie. Each were a 10/10. We particularly loved the choux pastry filled with chocolate creme. Incredible. So glad to find a French patisserie here in Aurora— we will be returning regularly!
Paris called and decided to put a piece of itself in Aurora! Wonderfully decadent, a true Patisserie of Parisian Quality baked goods. The pastries are light and flaky. The cakes are wonderfully moist. GET THE BROWNIES! The biscottis are so good too! The prices are reasonable in terms of the quality of baked goods. Everything is made in house with high quality ingredients. There are an assortment of bite sized baked goods and prepackaged goodies. I ended up getting an assortment of bite size to take home. Staff is very friendly! There is a washroom that is wheelchair accessible.
