Although the kitchen staff was late to serve the manti, the taste was amazing as if it was prepared in the kitchen of an old neighborhood of Istanbul. The prices are good, the tea is great and the baked goods are fresh. The place is small, unpretentious, simple and cosy. I like to sit here often just to enjoy the nostalgia for Turkey.
Such a delicious little cafe!! Highly recommend!! The staff are very nice and accommodating. The prices are so reasonable for the quality of food they serve. And if you didn’t know this is the BEST cheesecake spot ever! So delicious it’s crazy! They are very traditionally inspired restaurant and family own I believe!
I'm so happy to discover this place in Vancouver, finally I can enjoy my favorite Turkish breakfast and bakery. Everything was perfect, simits are freshly baked with crunchy top and soft inside. Beef bourek was rich and yummy. Mmmm for dessert, Sebastian - so creamy and delicious with Turkish tea. This bakery definitely one of my favorites. Highly recommended to visit .
Ordered quite a bit of stuff and of course as a turk I had a bit of high expectations. The food is decent but definitely not comparable to things back home… it just does the job. The Turkish tea was alright but not the best. The prices are quite high for what you get and the flavours are there but could improve.
The service was quick, clean and the staff were polite. My favourite part was the traditionally served Turkish coffee with Turkish delight. It’s a great place to have a quick bite. I prefer their bagels warmer though.
Great food, nice people. The bread is so good that sometimes they run out. Outside, it doesn't really grab your attention until you enter. Definitely enter, is one of the best bakery in the area.
Sweet and savory options were vey delicious and well done. The seating area is comfortable and we were well accommodated even though we definitely overstayed. The turkish coffee is a must try
What a wonderful bakery ! The Simit,Borek, and Baklava were fantastic. The Simit was as good as if you were buying it off the streets of İstanbul ! If your into Turkish breads and pastries then def don’t pass this bakery up.
The coffee prices are very reasonable. Had the turkish coffee and it hit the spot with its strong flavour. The san sebastian cheesecake won cake of the year in 2021. Will be back to try that.
Good food and incredible service! Stopped by at 3pm on a Friday to try an Aspendos bagel and olive/mozzarella-stuffed bagel to go. The man behind the counter was working alone but he offered me samples of the orange cranberry scone pastry and also gave me a free Turkish coffee to go!! Not only that, but when I came home and opened my bag, I found another surprise pastry inside! I was very pleasantly surprised with the generosity. I will be back to try more of the menu for sure!
