Portions are huge and the food is delicious. Got the pad see ew for lunch and it was very good. Good value if you go during lunch special too. Would definitely recommend.
Server asking if we need more time 30 seconds after handing me menu. She rude all the way. Bangkok chicken taste like Over seasoned chinese food. Failed again to find good restaurant in the neighborhood. Sigh.
This unassuming spot offers nearly free local delivery and some of, if not the best Thai food in Seattle. While you’ll love your classics, branch out with Kao Soi, Bancock Chicken, and the Avocado and Pumpkin curries, and you will not be disappointed. The mango sticky rice when in season is also incredibly satisfying.Recommended dishesKhao Soi, Avocado Curry, Chicken Skewers, Chicken Phad Thai, Bangkok Chicken, Basil Chicken Wings, Orange Chicken, Panang Curry, Pad See EW
This place is a good but not great Thai restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and very friendly service. The Massaman curry was a little burnt tasting and not that tasty, rice also isn’t included which is a little weird, it’s not that expensive they charge extra for a serving of rice. The green curry fried rice on the other hand was awesome. Flavorful fried rice that wasn’t too greasy with delicious crispy basil leaves on top. I underestimated the crispy basil addition till I tried it, it was awesome!
Very friendly staff. Have a few specialty dishes with a good twist on traditional Thai. They are very flexible with changes to accommodate dietary restrictions. Nice to have a spice tray to increase our spiciness levels. Can never go wrong with the Mango Sticky Rice. Recommend the Green Curry Fried Rice.
Really good and really quick. $2-4 cheaper per item than all the other Thai places in Wallingford/Fremont and possibly better. Got the Pad Thai and the Pad Prik Khing. Runs spicy for Seattle, the 4 was too spicy, 3 was perfect.
Service is awesome and the food tastes great! Highly recommend the Panang curry and pineapple duck curry, all super smooth and rich with flavors. The chicken satay was juicy and tender, goes well with the diced cucumber and curry sauce. One hidden gem of Thai food in Wallingford.
This place has kept going downhill, which has been sad to see as I live locally and love going to out restaurants along 45th. I keep going back hoping this time will be different, but then just get disappointed in some other way. Last time I ordered pineapple duck curry... or more accurately mixed vegetable curry garnished with two small bites of duck. That's right, two single bites of duck in a quart sized to-go container of curry. Should have been called grape and tomato curry as that's what there was the most of. The taste was distinctly too sweet, otherwise very mediocre. The pot stickers were cooked well but so profoundly tasteless, like they forgot all spices and no salt. The pot sticker dipping sauce was plain nasty - tasted like watered down molasses with salt mixed in. Sad to say I'm done giving this place second chances.
One of the better Thai restaurants in the Seattle area! I had the Cashew Prawns. Three stars was spicy enough to have a good flavor without being too over the top. If you do not like spicy food, I suggest one or two stars. Very friendly service.
Silver Tray in my opinion is one of, if not the BEST Thai restaurants in Seattle. I know that's a bold claim. The small dining room is nicely furnished and always spotless. I've always been seated quickly and a server is taking our drink order within a minute or two. The food comes out piping hot and tastes delicious. Even if you are not in the area, give it a try and you will definitely not be disappointed!
