We all really enjoyed everything we ordered! Pictured are the Kuay Teow Haeng pan-fried egg noodle and the mango sticky rice, which is a must-have dessert no matter how full you think you are!
Food was good, but I must say they need to work a lot on their hospitality and customer service. We went their for Dinner with friends and were enquring about the food quantity so that we can order accordingly. The server was so rude as I asked "How many fried chicken will be there in a particular item?" He said he don't know! He knows about the weight only - then I said him "ok, can you tell me about the weight?" He said "He don't know again?!!" Then I said to him "You don't know about the item, you don't know about the quantity???" He got so angry and said to us, he can not serve us, he took all the menu from us! As it was around 9pm and we did not find any other restaurants open so my friends tried to calm him down and said sorry to him!! Some how he managed, as we were hungry so we didn't have any other choice. I think they really need training on Customer Service and Guest Management. It was one of the worst experiences for us in Seattle :
We came on one of the busiest nights for take out possible on New Years Day and the dining room was empty and we decided to stay. The server was amazing and explained it may take a while. It was well worth it too! The flavors were amazing and spicy is spicy. Everything tasted great and the service was on point.
Pretty great thai food. Taste is homey, no frills. Spice levels here are a decent bit higher than what most Seattle folks are used to so you have been warned. A 3 star here is probably closer to 4-5 stars at many other places I have previously tried. Very comparable to Silver Tray just up the road. Staff here are very nice. The location honestly looks like a house that was converted into a restaurant, which lends to the entire “homely” feel of the food. Would definitely recommend
Tuck in a cozy little house in Wallingford area you find this amazing flavorful gem ! Fare warning parking is difficult but well worth it and seating is limited so plan ahead. Got three dishes there an amazing Tom Kha Soup with chicken, Basil Krapao Chicken & Fried Egg, and the spicy seafood stir fry. All so wonderful the pictures I’m sharing does not do the flavor justice. Take a dive in and try this place out because I want to hear others take on it. great for a party of two or four!
I am from the bay area and came to Seattle and had a last minute order for Basil Krapao Chicken & Fried Egg, Mango with Sticky Rice. I am so glad i did. Krapao actually tasted good and spicy like back home in Thailand. The mango was great! Only 4 star because they missed my order of 1 soda but everything else was great.
The Pad Thai uses a brown sauce and is very tasty. It's a staple for me whenever I go here. The Pad Kee Mao has tons of veggies that are not overcooked, as can happen with other restaurants. Great flavor overall without an excess of noodles that clag together. Parking: There is a small lot behind the building but it doesn't hold many, if any, cars. Parking for the restaurant is effectively just limited to street parking where you can find it. Fortunately, there are lots of side streets and a spot can often be found within a couple blocks of the restaurant.
Amazing Thai restaurant. The food is great, and their staff is super too! We ordered a starter and Pad Thai. Both were great. I asked for max spice level, but it wasn’t really spicy. So that was disappointing but the flavours were great. The main course took a little longer to come, but they compensated with an amazing Thai ice tea. There is only street parking around, no parking lot/garage.
Dehumanizing experience! On Saturday night a male worker with grayish hair treated three delivery people of varying ethnicities with complete disregard, and without human dignity. If you value equity, equality, and decency toward other people and believe that you should always treat others with kindness, or at least respect, please consider looking elsewhere for your Thai dining experience. The man treating the delivery drivers poorly was referencing the ability of the delivery drivers to understand English. However, the man treating the delivery drivers badly did not present strong skills himself, and his ability to effectively communicate with the delivery drivers was marred by his poor attitude and seemling disdain towards them delivery drivers. Aren’t delivery drivers supposed to be an integral part of a restaurant’s success during and even before these covid times. How could restaurants have survive during the lockdown without people willing to do deliveries? If this man is so angry at the very people helping him, maybe he should not provide food delivery as an option, and only offer in house seating. I would urge the owner of this restaurant to help all representatives of his establishment to treat others with respect and kindness.
Excellent value for catering! In photo - Djan’s platter and chicken satay
