The only Uyghur place in Boston. Small interior with seating and casual service. You order on your phone after scanning the QR at the table. All the food was hot and spicy and absolutely delicious! We got some chicken stir fry, spicy tofu, a samosa these are different than the classic Indian samosas, and the hand-pulled noodles. Get some rice on the side if you aren’t getting a noodle-based dish. Highly recommend going here if you’re in the area — you won’t be disappointed.
I loved this place! It’s a only halal restaurant near my place, and the food is amazing! I loved the dry fired noodle the most, it has lot of flavours and medium spicy for me. The spicy chicken also tasty. The server told us we can modify the spicy level. Their service is also great and friendly. Will be back!
Amazing food! It was our first time trying Uyghur cuisine and we are fans! Dishes are little bit spicy just the way we like it. But they did accommodate for our kids as well. Our little ones really enjoyed the stuffed naan.
Absolutely fantastic! I had previously heard that this spot was one of few Uyghur restaurants around; I'm so glad that we were finally able to eat here! A few weeks ago we tried to come, but unfortunately the entire place had been booked for a large party. The restaurant is pretty small and cozy. There's only 5 tables, so not a ton of room and it can feel a bit cramped. Once seated, you scan the QR code on the table and send in your order online. This method was new to me, but it makes sense to allow the employees to focus on the food - which was served with surprising speed. We ordered the dry fried noodles, bean jelly, and spicy chicken. The first was my favorite and a full plate; the others were served in small bowls, more like appetizers. As far as meatless entrées go, well, there are none - so I ordered the dry fried noodles without the beef. It was still quite delicious, with the perfect level of spiciness. The bean jelly was served as cubes in contrast to noodles, as presented in the images on the online menu and would be fine to share, but isn't very interesting to eat by yourself. The spicy chicken was also well received. There is very limited service, unless you specifically request an employee to come to your table via the website where you order. You can even pour your own water from bottles into small plastic cups. There's also no bathroom here. The low-service, no-frills approached resonated with me as a typical experience for an authentic ethnic restaurant, and most of the customers I saw were Uyghur or Chinese. Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options except the bean jelly appetizer, but you can order something off the menu and request no meat.
Spicy yet satisfying food. Portion sizes are good. However a few dishes were quite greasy. Recommend their hand-pulled noodles . Prices gone up from what's shown on the menus in the photos.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
Little restaurant on Cambridge St, food is yummy and tastes homemade. Loved the homemade yogurt with honey and raisins. Also the lamb soup was really nice, like a Pho but different flavors, and the lamb was tender and delicious. Same with the scallion lamb! Also enjoyed the beef samosa and cucumber garlic salad, would definitely go back.
Friendly owner and casual atmosphere. Food was very good but lamb dish was smaller than we expected, especially compare to the less expensive chicken dish that was a much larger serving. But I would come back!
This place does have a unique offering with it's Uyghur Chinese Muslim cuisine. I had the extra spicy fried fresh hand pull noodles with beef. The noodles were chewy and the spices in the noodle were best of chilly oil flavor. I could taste szhewan pepper flavor making my tongue numb. Beef was nice and charred. This a noodle you must have fresh onsite so you get the smoky wok flavor. I also had the lamb kebab. The dominant flavor was cumin and unfortunately I mainly tasted salt and cumin. The meat quality was good. And with a piece of fat on top of screwer it kept the kebab very juicy. The owner friendly and polite. Small restaurant. Small menu but the quality of the of ingredient and food is very good. The restaurant small store but clean. Simple setting. Almost like a street corner hole in the wall kind off feel. This place definitely has a unique product. I feel they can add more variety barbeque items. I believe Xinjiang is famous for kebabs also. I also feel being in Boston maybe some sea food item with Uyghur spices would been a unique experience. It is a halal venue so that is a big plus.
Very good hand pulled noodles with generous portions and quality ingredients in comforting but not spicy dishes. I would definitely come back or get takeout.
Really enjoyed the food here! I had the laghman and really enjoyed the hand pulled noodles, it was similar to udon but more on the denser side. Absolutely doused my food with the delicious chili oil and suffered the consequences after lol.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
