This beautiful location speaks for itself, with an 1800 aesthetic it was very elegant. We had the pleasure of enjoying the patio/outdoor section of the restaurant and it was absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately I did have to give a rating of 4, because upon our reservations we had an online questionnaire basic questions how many guests, being okay with protocols ect. I mentioned it was my birthday celebration, and it seemed that it was completely disregarded upon dining. The server did make a simple mistake taking my order by hearing another menu item, but when the food came out she quickly got the food I had ordered originally. Which I did extremely appreciate. But I feel like they could have acknowledged my birthday simply by making a special birthday drink or offered some sort of sweets. We did spend quiet a bit of money per couple. The staff did apologize and I really hope to visit again and have a different experience. The drinks were stiff and the food was absolutely phenomenal and made fresh in house . This will definitely keep us interested to visit again.

What a great spot! The staff was great to us and super friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxed, definitely a fan of the music choices. We booked a reservation for 6 of us on the patio for dinner. Lucky for us the weather cooperated. The patio is very open with lots of seating. Lots of washrooms for the size of the restaurant. Overall great expierence overall. Will definitely be back again soon, thanks again.  Parking: Adequate Parking. Can also park out back.

The most comfortable experience you will ever experience! Who doesn’t want a  blanket and a heater served with local ingredients, in house pasta and pizza and more! The new spring menu will entice you to come out weekly. You feel at home at Shy’s Place.

Drove by Shy’s Place & im very happy I turned around to check it out. Beautiful ambiance & a lovely outdoor patio. Service was just was amazing as the food. Lavender sour was a fun drink to try. Can’t wait to come back sometime!

Vibrant atmosphere with friendly service.  We had dinner at Shy’s Place and had a wonderful experience. We went on a Thursday and was pleasantly surprised listening to music from a live DJ.  The food was delicious and enjoyed the drinks. The street corn and Lavender sour was a hit in my books.  We’ll be sure to come back in the future!

Awesome place! I come here often and the food is always so delicious! Also the servers and manager are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Cool place, great vibe, amazing service, huge portions and value and the food..... delicious!! If you don't live here, it's worth the drive to Waterdown.

A friend and I met for dinner and this location was halfway between us so we thought we’d try it. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was excellent. I had the schnitzel and my friend had the salmon. The food isn’t ordinary. It is different in a mouthwatering way. Both dishes were so delicious we left not a morsel on the plate.  The service was outstanding. We were not rushed and enjoyed our night out.  Parking: On-site parking is plentiful.  Dietary restrictions: Our food sensitivities were respected.

I don't know where to start. We accidentally happened upon this restaurant and it was the best random selection ever. They kindly accomodate our last minute group of 6, and were very welcoming from the start.  The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and cozy. The service was 5*, everyone was very nice, had a good sense of humor, and just overall hospitable.  All hats off to the chef's because the food was 6*, I know that's not a rating but I'm telling you they surpass the 5 that Google allots. I wish I had a second stomach - that's how good the food  was. The appetizers, mains, and desserts were all phenomenally delicious. The bartender also gets a hats off because all the cocktails were perfection.  I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for a great eating experience. We will definitely be back.
