Shoppers Simply Pharmacy

This smaller, family owned/operated pharmacy remembers the old fashioned art of personable, caring customer service. It's very nice to access a pharmacy rather than the "big box" experience of a full sized Shoppers ... The pharmacists have always been very happy to discuss my prescriptions, facilitate renewals, and listen to my concerns and questions. I'm really happy to call this business my "home pharmacy."

I’ve been to this pharmacy twice before and it was fine, just a bit of a wait. I ordered medication on Saturday and was told it would be delivered that day. It never came. I needed the pills for 8:30 a.m. today so I went to the pharmacy at 8 to find it closed. I sat on the chairs right outside. No one arrived until 8:27. The lady who came let in another customer. She called someone on the phone then informed the other customer about what was happening in Italian. She said nothing to me. She went outside, then came back and quickly went into the store wordlessly and didn’t open it up. At almost 8:50, she came to the door to collect coffee from her husband and spoke across me to the Italian customer to give an update. I asked her if I could have an update since I was waiting for 50 minutes. Only then did she say that the pharmacist had an emergency and she couldn’t open the store without him. I explained why I was there and she found my package which had never gone out for delivery and apologized. I understand that mistakes and emergencies happen and things run late sometimes. But customers also have jobs to get to and their time should be respected. Why didn’t this worker have the decency to inform me about what was going on or to even ask what I was there for? I’m happy that you guys filled the last two months of this prescription because I’ll never be back at this store.

Amazing staff! The pharmacists are super helpful and patient oriented. A gentleman ahead of me was there for his script all the way from Brampton, and I got it why. Good feeling about this one, would definitely choose this one over other pharmacies.

Amazing team and so helpful. The owner is friendly and helpful along with the team. My family needed medication and had particular circumstances that needed delivery and they made sure we were able to get what we needed. Also very communicative and so supportive! Thank you!

I called to ask about getting medication delivered because I am covid positive. I live about 200 feet from this pharmacy. The woman who answered told me what I needed was OTC and I could get it anywhere and hung up on me. Not very nice or helpful.

I have always had a positive experience at this pharmacy but today, as I waited for my prescription to be filled, I watch the pharmacy owner, behind the cash registers, take off his mask and eat pizza. I was appalled. I watched to see if at least he would wash his hands. Nope. This would be pretty disgusting in a regular situation, but we are still living in a global pandemic.

We saw that flu shot is available in this store on the shopper's website. Because of the last experience, we tried to call them several times before going but no one answered. So we arrived but no flu shots available. This is our 2nd time at 2 different shopper's stores. There were lots of people working there and they didn't look very busy. They just didn't answer the phone and the website still says it is available. We understand that there is a shortage but what we are asking for is just to answer the phone or to properly update the website.

Having a very bad experience with this Pharmacy. Sent my prescription here and when I went to pick it up they were closed. Their online hours said they were open and their phone said they were open. These are prescriptions that are very important and I rely on them for everyday life. I ended up having to go to the emergency afterwards to get an emergency prescription. Afterwards when trying to transfer pharmacies they had confirmed that the file was transferred but when I arrived at the new pharmacy they said they did not receive it. Absolutely would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

I've been going to this pharmacy for the pasted 15 years I really miss the staff that left they were super nice and very helpful. Now there is a lot of excuses and the delivery is really bad. I'm in need of my thyroid pills that I ordered yesterday and today still didn't revised it, I need that medicine every day, now have to wait till Monday and have none for tomorrow morning . Not happy with this.

This is the worst Shoppers Drug Mart in the province. The pharmacist is so rude that they don't help with anything unless they have it, they never have formula when needed. I tried to get things for burns and they don't stalk up on anything. I don't understand why they are open at all when the have nothing besides the basics, or very rude customer service. Closest to home and have been coming here since the day it opened. That's when it was good.
