Shoppers Drug Mart

Went to this location on October 15 during the afternoon looking for hemorrhoid medication. Was having a hard time finding it so I asked one of the young ladies that was stocking product at the time for help finding it. She proceeded to laugh in my face and ran off with her fiend that was helping her at the time. I got zero help whatsoever and had to find it on my own. But even worse was getting laughed at for a medical condition in a pharmacy store is ridiculously uncalled for. These employees need to be reprimanded for treating me like this. Do better Shoppers.

I have been given completely false and potentially dangerous medical information by a pharmacy team member here in the past. Medication orders have been messed up and delayed multiple times. Some of the pharmacy team is great, but unfortunately there are also team members that are just rude or completely unhelpful. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been told to come back on a different day just because somebody there made a mistake. No more.

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. In particular, the staff member named Kiera was extremely rude and unprofessional. She clearly lacks the basic skills and attitude required for customer service. Instead of assisting customers with respect and courtesy, her behavior made the experience frustrating and unpleasant.nnFrankly, I do not understand why she is working at this location if she does not know how to properly handle and serve customers. Employees who interact with customers should represent the business in a positive and professional manner, which was absolutely not the case here.nnI strongly feel that if Kiera cannot demonstrate the fundamental qualities of respect, professionalism, and customer care, then she should not be working in a customer-facing role at this location.

I come here at night because its the only SDM with late hours in the area. The shopping experience is typically good here, I come and get my fragrances from this location for myself and as gifts. I just have noticed over my last couple of visits a change in management or operations. My last two visits I was followed by staff for loss prevention purposes, which is never a good experience for a customer. I also had an experience last Christmas of a cashier accusing me of trying to steal while buying diapers. I was having difficulty scanning at SCO, but she made me feel incompetent even though there are about 10 barcodes on the diaper boxes and the scanner kept picking up a different barcode. I only mention this because of the recent displeasure I have experienced going to that store. Hoping that some changes can be made to get it back to how it was.

I visited the Canada Post counter today at this SDM and unfortunately, this was my second unpleasant experience with the same staff member. She was extremely rude and unhelpful both times. Her tone and attitude clearly reflected frustration or dissatisfaction with her job, which made the interaction quite uncomfortable. I believe customer service should be courteous and respectful, and I hope this matter can be addressed appropriately.
