Solid Shoppers Drug Mart located in a busy retail area. Large Cosmetics/Beauty section that frequently features in-stock items often not found at other locations. Post Office available in-store at this location. Good convenient hours.
I had a prescription for blood thinners to clear up a clot. The pharmacist did not read or at least did not follow the surgeon's prescription twice a day at two tablets and prescribed me 1 a day only. This resulted in my clot not clearing up since I was getting a quarter my expected dosage.nnThree weeks later, in meeting with my surgeon and not seeing the clot breaking up, the mistake was discovered, and I needed to get the correct dosage.nnNot even an apology from the pharmacist or staff, they simply shrugged their shoulders when presented with the situation.
Their staff are very unprofessional. They don't know the refund policy for shoppers. Even though it can be found online, they will tell you that they can't be sure. Even after they contacted the manager, they still told me that it would have to be dealt with the next day. This is just a waste of time.
A well organized store with friendly and helpful staff. It is well laid out and it is easy to find all of the items on my shopping list.nI appreciate the shelf signage that highlights both sale items and items with bonus offers for PC Points.
