Pharmacy department needs better training and/or possibly new management. I had a prescription transferred here from another Shoppers and the Pharmacist tried convincing me to buy in bulk after I already explained I prefer coming in once a month. Then he still prepared 3 months for me. I've been buying my prescriptions on a month to month basis for years and never had a issue. It was really confusing and unnecessary. No one seemed to understand their job properly. No major complains elsewhere but Shoppers isn't much of a catch with a dysfunctional pharmacy.

***WARNING*** DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SCRIPTS BEFORE YOU LEAVE! I changed all my prescriptions to this location when it opened as it was closer to my home than the pharmacy I have been using since childhood. In the 6 months they have been opened they have messed up my prescriptions 4 times!! They also accused me of double dipping on my prescriptions saying that I had filled the script a few days earlier and they ran it through my benefits plan and made me pay out for pocket for my pills. I checked back multiple times as they said they would look into it for me and every month when I went to refill again it was the same excuses. I sent my fiance to get my medication for me on another occasion and he had to go back 2 times before they got the correct medication in the bag! Now I am a woman in my 30's capable of reading my scripts and ensuring I am taking the correct dosages and medications but imagine this were an elderly person who just trusts the pharmacist is doing his job?!? They could be over dosing on medications! Completely irresponsible! And to top it off there was a complete lack of caring when I had pointed out the issue to the Pharmacist / owner! I could not believe the reaction I got from him when I tried to point of the short comings of his business thinking these are things he would want to know for sure!

STAY AWAY ..being from the medical community and having a boy thats sick. The worst pharmacists work here and the staff are very rude to women. Not worth the headaches.

I'm giving a 2 because I dealt with *one* nice woman in the pharmacy who I believe was an assistant. But everyone else in the pharmacy that I have met have been less than cordial. I started going here when they opened because it was close. The first time I had to wait several days before I could get my prescription (so I wasn't taking my meds) because they said what my doctor had written didn't make sense. They said they would sort it out. I called after 2 days of no medication and the person I spoke too said she didn't know the story at all and it looked like nothing had been done. She said she would ask the pharmacist and I was out on hold. I timed a 13 minute hold and then hung up and called back. Another woman answered and I said I was just speaking with someone who went to get help. The new woman literally told me "oh she must have got overwhelmed and went on break". So I re explain the entire thing. Finally a day or two later the pharmacist actually calls me and says it's sorted out and ready! I was ok with this even though i missed my meds for 3-4 days and they are for mental health issues. The next time I dealt with them, I needed a few extra pills for anxiety (not a sedative either) because my Dr appt was in 3 days and I didn't have enough to reach me there. From what I understood from reading signs all over the pharmacy, was that they pride themselves on being able to help you out in situations exactly like this. They were no help at all. Completely acted in front of my face like I was irritating them, while I was being extremely patient. When they said there was nothing they could do, I asked if I could safely then cut what pills I DID have left in half to make them stretch. The pharmacist did not even give me an answer because I don't think he knew what I was saying. I called in later to see if the prescription I was "allowed" to have was ready. I spoke to a new pharmacist. I explained my situation and tried to ask a question. I did tell her I was upset as I've had to explain several times and been on hold several times prior with no help. She then raised her voice and said "you need to be patient" I said I believed I'd been very patient after spending about 40 minutes on hold with them that week with no one knowing my situation after I'd described and desperately asked for help. When a bit later in the day to get my prescription for what I WAS allowed to have, the pharmacist wouldn't come to the counter and someone else served me. I said to the assistant "so I guess I will cut these in half and dose myself to make them last? I don't know what is safe to do" the pharmacist heard me as he looked at me right then. I honestly have never felt discrimination, and for that I am extremely grateful. But the way I was treated here hurt me and truly made me feel like they have an issue with patients with mental illness. The man serving me kind of shrugged. I even said "thank you so much, I appreciate your time" (I was not sarcastic, I am a pleasant and patient person) and he said "ok". And I walked out and never went back. Went to a new pharmacy that was more than happy to help me right away and was extremely kind and helpful.
