If you needed another reason to boycott any loblaws business shoppers included, here was my experience this weekend. We purchase some beautiful t bone steaks from No Frills Loblaws for a special dinner for Victoria Day. Upon opening them, they were rotten all 4 of them… awful. Dinner ruined no one’s open, except we found that shoppers was. We settled on burgers and they had 8 for 15.99. We get to the cash and they ring in at $19. Clearly labeled in a bunker for $16. They won’t give us a break on price, no supervisor to assist us, so we walk away. We are being gouged on price for rotten food, and they won’t even try to fix their mistakes. AVOID!
The store has been great since they opened a few years ago but I have a hard time understanding why it's closed at 12:15 p.m. on a Monday afternoon with the doors locked and signs in the door saying due to emergency and due to power outage the store is closed. I see people in their stocking the shelves and I called the pharmacy and they said oh there's a problem with the computer so the stores closed up for a few hours. I have a hard time believing that head office is aware of this outage add a multi-million dollar company doesn't have a backup system to get their computers online or to make sales without a computer ?! The recent reviews make me wonder who the manager is of this location?
Went here to get cologne for my brother with my dad and we were extremely dissatisfied with the service provided to us by the cosmetics lady.nnWe arrived at the store, and went straight to the cologne and perfume section where we waited for 20 minutes while she was helping a customer, and having a very deep conversation with her completely ignoring us, and not calling anyone else to help us.nnwe were not helped so we decided to leave and come back later . we came back an hour later, and she finally opened up one of the glass doors that the perfume is behind. She let my brother try a couple perfumes before stepping away and saying the smells of the perfume made her feel sick.nnMy brother tried a few more, and she was stepping away every single time because she could not handle the smell of perfume. I stepped away and let my brother choose his perfume and I see her rolling her eyes being extremely disrespectful, saying that she cannot show them anymore because the smell makes her feel sick.nnMy dad politely asked if someone else could help them because they are looking for a cologne and they need one soon and it would be really nice if she could get someone else since she does not want to help them.nnShe rolled her eyes and said OK I can do one more, and after that, she walked away and began to speak with her coworkers.nnI believe that if you have a bad reaction to perfumes, you should not be working in this position, and should therefore find a different job. Perfume and cologne selection is a difficult process and requires the customer to smell multiple if not every single cologne before they make a choice; it is not a simple process and it is very expensive.nnI would not recommend going to this store due to the experience that we had today. Please hire someone else that is capable of doing their work.
I don't know what's happening with this pharmacy - most staff are rude, they loose prescriptions & meds and then try divert blame, they get frustrated when you are asking questions or trying to get clarification. If they get a faxed prescription from your doctor, they will just let it sit there until you call to have it filled like when did that change. My family all have chronic conditions, meds are life saving in some cases. We need a pharmacy that helps us and are part of our health care team. Since the change in ownership, this pharmacy is no longer that for us.nnWe have had no issues with the retail section of the store, and have also been provided courteous and professional service.
Went in today, the older woman working at front cash was very rude. To me, the customer in front of me, and to the supervisor she called. Seems like all they do is tell everyone to call 1-800-shoppers so they don’t have to deal with anything. Won’t be returning since customer service is so awful
