I had a really great experience at this Pharmacy.nKaushal went above and beyond to help me out, he was incredibly informative, patient, and genuinely kind throughout the whole interaction.nIt’s not often you come across someone who takes the time to explain everything so clearly and make you feel comfortable asking questions.nExcellent customer service like this makes a huge difference. Highly recommend this location especially if you're interacting with Kaushal!

My husband and I are seniors and fairly new to Barrie. Despite the heavy traffic of people and periodic wait time at the pharmacy, we are more than pleased with our new drug store on Yonge. All staff and Pharmacists are pleasant, well informed and efficient. They are never understaffed, with plenty behind the pharmacy counter, all hard at work to keep up. Most importantly, the Pharmacists are always ready and willing to assist, in person and on the phone.

I recently visited this Shoppers Drug Mart, and I left feeling very uncomfortable. I came in knowing what I wanted and also circled a few aisles to look for other products. Since it was only my second time at this location, I wasn’t sure where things were and was simply scanning the shelves.nnDuring my visit, staff didn’t approach me once to offer help, and instead, I got the feeling I was being watched. At one point, I even heard a security announcement over the speaker, and shortly after, an associate looked down the aisle where I was shopping. Whether it was coincidence or not, it made me feel like I was being accused of something when all I was doing was browsing.nnNo one assisted me the entire time, and the overall atmosphere made me very uneasy. I ended up checking out at self checkout, but this experience has made me not want to return to this location again.

Amazing service from the 2 women working in the cosmetics department!! Pauline and Sidney you were so very helpful. Thank you for your patience and genuine kindness. Your warm smiles let me know my business was finally appreciated. I will continue to drive right past the shoppers near my house to go to your location which is a little farther but worth every extra kilometre for how I was treated. Thank you both for your exceptional service !!

Came in looking for help with a cold sore and asked to speak to the pharmacist to see if they could prescribe Zovirax cream. I know it’s a prescription medication — that’s exactly why I was trying to speak to a pharmacist.nnUnfortunately, one staff member kept cutting me off, repeating “you need a prescription” without actually listening to what I was saying. It felt like they were more interested in shutting me down than helping. Honestly, I walked out pretty frustrated. Why would I be asking to speak to a pharmacist if I didn’t know it was prescription? If it were that simple, I’d have just bought something off Amazon.nnThat said, I really appreciated the other staff who were kind enough to suggest some OTC options. Shout-out to them for at least trying.nnIf you're in a similar situation, I’d honestly recommend going to the Shoppers at 279 Yonge St. instead — way more helpful and actually took the time to listen.
