Shoppers Drug Mart

Haven't been to this location in a while, but today I needed something important. As I approached the entrance I noticed a symbol of Marxist virtue signaling near the bottom of the door. I wonder if Corporate OKed that display? Now that I've noticed it I will never go back to that location.

,nnJust a quick email to advise how disappointed I am with what you would call service at this listowell location. A pharmacy team is supposed to be helpful! For a pharmacist to deny a few days of anxiety medication to a kid until the doctor's office is open, because of lack of history, is criminal.nnWe are not talking opiods here, not anything you get high on! This is an anxiety medication, that you have to build up to, so if they were knowledgeable, there is history in the fact that my son takes 3mg of guanfacine and its a medication that you build up to. Also, I asked them to call the shoppers in kitchener to verify the history 10years btw which they refused to do.nnNow, you may say, well we sent you a reminder by phone 3 weeks ago, which I confused message is confusing with a renewal that I accepted; Also, people have lives, lot of things happening in people's lives, such as my husband having an open heart surgery... so a little kindness people goes a long way, you are not the only people experiencing hardships.nnI will not use this pharmacy anymore as I would rather drive 2 hours to deal with knowledgeable pharmacists who don't just refuse to provide you with actual service and the medication that you need!nnFabiola Leconte

The same pharmacy assistant keeps giving me the runaround. On Saturday, she said there were 4 prescriptions on my file but when the 4th wasn't filled and I started asking questions about when it should be ready, my doctor suddenly hadn't faxed it in. I had them send it in again and when I called today to ask a few questions about it, the same assistant couldn't answer any questions, wasn't making any sense and ended the call after placing it on hold to pretend to look into it. She did not call me back so it's not a mistake.nnThank you to the competent and professional pharmacist I spoke with when I called back. They quickly answered my questions and it finally made sense why they weren't filling the prescription. It's just disappointing it took so long.

The worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. I’m told I need to order my pills ahead of time. Which I do. Then I’m told when I call it will be a day sometimes two to get it. Fine. Then I go in the day they tell me it’s done and I’m told it’s ready. Pick it up and it’s the wrong medicine. Or I have to wait another 20-30 mins while they look for it. I ask why it takes so long when my old pharmacy I could walk in same day and get my medication in 15 mins without calling ahead. They actually had the balls to tell me they were understaffed when there were six people behind the counter. If those six can’t do their job maybe it’s not an issue about understaffed maybe you just need better staff. I hate knowing I need to get a refill every time. My medication is life saving that I need to take daily it’s not like I’m going in for something I could go a day or two without. If I could give them no stars I would and if I had the ability to go to another drug store I also would.

Awesome pharmacy. The people are so helpful. And I always find what I need.
