Usually this place is great..quick,helpful,respectful but today after waiting in line like everyone else and after watching the people in front of me go up to the counter tell them what they need and they get what they need or help them with what they need help with it My turn came and I was told to sit down and wait because she wanted to deal with everybody else in the lineup like Im not as important and I deserve to wait when I should have gotten my scripts like other people did. I guess the woman thinks that people on methadone are lower and less important than everyone else. But every other pharmacist is respectful and proper..just not Anna, thanks for treatment.
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Shoppers Drug Mart. I went in specifically to purchase an Amazon gift card for my friend's birthday, and after asking three times to make sure I was getting the right card, I was handed an Apple gift card instead. I only realized the mistake once I got home and gave them the card, and to make matters worse, the card didn’t even work. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend $100 on something that’s not what I asked for and to find out it’s unusable. The staff didn’t seem to double-check or confirm the card's functionality before handing it over, and I’m left feeling like my trust was completely misplaced. This whole situation has been a huge inconvenience and a waste of time. I expect better service, especially when it comes to something as simple as a gift card.
On Saturday December 14th I placed a call to the pharmacy. I waited on hold for 57 minutes before speaking with somebody. 57 minutes is outrageous! Then when somebody finally answered the phone I was transferred to the pharmacist, who had zero empathy for the fact that I waited 57 minutes on hold. I was already at the store by this time and told the pharmacist this. He said to give him 10 minutes and he would have it ready. once it was ready he didn't even tell me. didn't call my name, nothing. I only knew it was ready because I got the email on my phone. Then I had to stand in line for 15 more minutes to check out. All this while having my 2 small kids with me. I've been going to this shoppers since Hani first opened it. This new owner doesn't seem to care about his customers. even before this incident calling the store has become a chore, you sit on hold for 10 to 15 minutes before somebody answers. I have the screen shots to prove it. I'm not sure what is going on with this new owner but I know I am going to be looking for a new pharmacy.
I’ve been a loyal customer of this pharmacy for years, but since the recent change in ownership, the quality of service has noticeably declined..nnThe staff seem less attentive, and I’ve experienced significant delays in getting prescriptions filled—something that never used to be an issue. Additionally, the level of customer care feels impersonal compared to the warm and friendly atmosphere we had before.nnNot only are medication late, often unavailable, but I have also been given an incorrect dose, and the wrong medication. As a customer, and as a healthcare worker, I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.nnI truly hope the new management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving operations and customer service. I will be using a different pharmacy, and shopping elsewhere.
Old Pharmacy staff, excellent. Jackie, Jen, Mike, Deb, Adrian, Kerri Now when I call I am on hold for ever it seems sometimes 15 minutes, like today Perhaps more staff is needed? Picking up parcel at Post office, after 20 minutes and 5 people still ahead of me, I left to come back another day. Service has gone down. I know it isn't all staff but perhaps new owners need to review service times for customers.
