Shoppers Drug Mart

Had to wait an excessive amount of time even though I had went in earlier to ask them to prepare the prescriptions and then they billed me for medications that were covered by OHIP. So had to wait longer. I wouldn’t haven’t given a star but system requires it. Shoppers is a horrible chain of pharmacies. GO ELSEWHERE!!

“Ask your pharmacist” does not apply to this location apparently. Wanted to ask about an otc medication for my 4 year old and pharmacist could not be bothered to come speak to us. We moved here from Val Caron where we used shoppers and trusted our pharmacist for all of our medication related questions they were amazing! Here they seem to not be bothered in person or via phone. I will be switching pharmacies immediately. Very disappointing as pharmacists are a valuable part of the health care team and their involvement is important when it comes to medication, sitting in a back office and not offering to speak to clients is not good practice.

Attempted to do business with Shoppers Drug Mart, despite the average low ratings. Three attempts - customer service got worse each time. We prefer to leave great reviews for businesses, but this one clearly has earned a thumbs down. EDIT - I don’t get it. They’ve had negative reviews about their poor customer service for more than a year and the same canned response - sorry, thanks for letting us know, customer service is important, we will try to do better. Apparently not too concerned - what a shame.

Editing my review of 5-stars three years ago based on my experience today. Sadly, the staff did not speak English, the products scanned the wrong price, and there was a blatant violation of the Consumer Protection Act Section 14 with regard to deceptive practices regarding pricing.
