Shoppers Drug Mart

Today, Shoppers staff decided it was more important to discuss hair dye and who the best stylist is in Elliot Lake. To busy to acknowledge me or talk to me, so I walked away. Last time I walk into Shoppers. Better yet, teach staff how to retain customers. The self serve machines that don't accept cash are the most bizarre idea if your intention is to keep people. Big store, big rent, almost no one there, what does that tell you?

I think Shoppers Drug Mart is a good store, but the facts now that unless you have cash you have to use the self checkout is in my mind way too much. I don't trust self checkout I'm much prefer To go to the counter where I can deal with a person face to face thank you.

Just took the family from Shoppers pharmacy to Rexall. Shoppers has been nothing but issues!nThey've run out of our meds leaving us dry when time for a refill like they didnt have the medication at all. We've been left without medication because they don't send requisitions off when they say they have. Our family doctor just confirmed they haven't received any of the three Shoppers lies saying they sent. They claimed they got no response from our family doctor and that was a lie they just never sent it and we requested through the app and in person each time they said they would and nothing about having sent the others until we called to complain.nnThey also never called to tell us we needed to talk to our doctor ourselves leaving us to think it was dealt with till we went to get meds and no, no refills again!.nnWhen we called about our concerns the pharmacist was rude and aggressive and threatening. My wife calmly and politely explained that we'd requested several times with no response and that we've tried calling and been left on hold for over 40 minutes. All this time the pharmacist was interrupting not listening deflecting and ignoring while getting rude and then started to threaten to cancel us. What a joke. This place is run terribly we've spent 20-40 minutes in line trying to get our meds while they sat and leisurely chatted. There is a section for speaking to the pharmacist that isn't the customer service desk and doesn't hold up the assistants. It's just rude and ridiculous and has resulted in us having to leave and come back cause of time constraints. It's just horrendous service with 0 responsibility or accountability and if you complain calmly and politely, they call that rude and threaten you. All we expected was communication and some acceptance of fault but everytimr we have this issue they charge us 15.00 for a script from the pharmacist when it's their fault we're out and dry after trying to get it filled for days and days on the phone and in perso and the app.nnThis has resulted in mental health crisis and anxiety attacks and affected daily thyroid medications and our overall health but they do not care as they are well aware their issues as seen by the other reveiws and they don't change.nnAna should have her license removed never have I seen such a disgusting response from a so called professional.nnIf they cared about our health theybwould communicate that they sent a refill request and got no response and to call our doctors ourselves. That would solve the issue and take it out of their responsibility but Ana thinks even though this service if offered they have 0 responsibility to you to get your refills or make sure your aware of the situation.

Have now been in the community and have used the services extensively. I am pleased with Shoppers staff responses to needs and the supports provided. All my medication needs are being met.nnContacted the Elliot Lake Shoppers Drug Mart as I am moving to the City. I spoke with the Pharmacist/Owner, Ana Lees. Talked all about the Pharmacy including hours, processes, staffing, transferring prescriptions, specialized medications and the online reviews. I am more than satisfied with this Pharmacist & Owner and the way that things are done, having worked in numerous Pharmacies myself during my university & early career years. I am exceptionally pleased with responses, attitudes and perspectives and am looking forward to working with this Pharmacy & team of staff. I expect a long and happy relationship as a result and hope others also try, and experience this as well. Good communication is a key to a good relationship and I have definitely experienced that! Also, it is exceptionally easy to transfer my prescription file as well! Great, personable & efficient start!

AnanYour staff is absolutely amazing!!! At 7:30 p.m. I brought a prescription into your store that I needed filled for my brother whom was getting a tooth extracted at that very moment. Even though it was a half hour til closing and I’m sure they had a lot of work to do, they accommodated our needs with care and kindness.nTheir thoughtfulness will be remembered forever
