Review of Shoppers Drug MartnnI recently had an experience at Shoppers Drug Mart that left me quite disappointed. I had forgotten to bring my Co-amoxiclav antibiotic with me, and I approached the pharmacy to explain my situation. I requested if they could provide me with just one or two tablets to manage until I could get my prescription.nnThe pharmacist, however, refused to help, citing that it was against the law to provide antibiotics without a valid prescription. While I understand the legal and regulatory framework surrounding prescription medications, I felt the interaction lacked compassion and understanding. I wasn’t asking for a refill or an extended supply, just a minimal amount to manage in a challenging situation.nnAs a pharmacy that serves the community, I expected more empathy in handling such situations. Even if they couldn’t provide the medication, offering alternative solutions or guidance on what I could do next would have been appreciated. Instead, the response felt dismissive, leaving me to resolve the issue on my own.nnI hope Shoppers Drug Mart considers ways to better support patients in unexpected circumstances while adhering to the law.

The pharmacist on duty at 1015pm on dec 27th was absolutely and unnecessarily rude. My wof3 simply asked if they were still open as in the pharmacy as hey looked liked he may have closed out of being polite. And he snapped back do we look open, open your eyes! In what world is that ok to talk to customers that way?nAnd when i interjected he was even ruder...

Love the Store..Hate the Shortage of Cashiers….No we don't want to be trained to make corporations richer by checking ourselves out…. Every time, every single time, I wait in a long line up ….Ive sent Head Office Emails… I guess I have to make Amazon Americans richer… we dont need this crap…

Terrible staff terrible service in the crack ward of Orillia filled with crack heads had 6 months 3 different opportunities to refill my prescription and apparently last owner didn't refill so now I am leaving on a vacation for 2 weeks with no puffers u able to breath they will not give me a temp I was old to just go to the hospital if u can't breath...... What a joke
