Shoppers Drug Mart

Dilip and David are great pharmacists. The problem here, is that the wait time for prescriptions is insanely long. They have screwed up my prescriptions a few times. I finally had enough when the two staff don't want to name names, but her initial is K and and other C at the pharmacy just got too difficult to handle. K is extremely rude. She asks in a huge sigh when your coming back. I say I'd like to wait and she rolls her eyes and says pffff ok it's going to be an hour, suit yourself. I say that's fine. I'm not very mobile so going back is difficult. She acts like this all the time. Huffs and puffs like your putting her out. Also C is rude and pretty much does the same thing except with dirty looks. Very uncomfortable feeling. If not for those two, I would have stayed with this shoppers just because Dilip is amazing. Unfortunately, the two of them make my experience horrible enough to leave coupled with the insane wait times.

The pharmacists are GREAT, one of them is also the store owner however some of the girls that work the cash have a big attitude problem, one was even rude to my 11 yr old daughter!!!

Sat 16th Jan 2016. Yesterday my 13 year old daughter purchased a hair straightener. Sadly, she was unhappy with the results this particular model gave her. We went back to the store with the unit, back in its wrapping, inside the box. This was returned along with the receipt. We happened to speak with the manager just finishing his shift along with 2 other managers. We explained that the unit worked fine and that it was the end result that we were unhappy with. I have read the returns policy on Shoppers Drugmart website and it mentions that as long as it is boxed, in saleable condition and is returned with the receipt we should be eligible for a refund. The managers told us to go directly to the manufacturer. Again, as mentioned to Shoppers Drugmart, there is nothing wrong with the unit, it's the end result that was the issue. Complete lack of customer service here! I would not expect this sort of behaviour from them. We are a family of 5. Along with usual trips for cosmetics, over the counter items such as diapers, creams, seasonal remedies, etc, we have ongoing prescription refills which I would suggest run into thousands $'s per year. We will not be returning to Shoppers Drugmart unless they connect with us and help us clear this up.
