Shogun Japanese Restaurant

We've taken out from here a few times and usually it is very good. Last night, though, the sushi was completely tasteless. The sashimi and the tuna tataki just tasted like water. I hope this was just an off night!

Great experience! The private room concept is really nice but make sure to reserve it before you visit! Food quality is great as well. Servers were very courteous and friendly! Enjoyed my visit overall!

This is our favourite place for sushi in the area! The service is always super friendly. Saki, our server made sure that we had everything we needed. We were so excited to find out that they are open again! Great food. It’s a hidden gem in the area. It’s worth the trip.

Best place for the sushi!!! And if you are vegetarian try forest rolls NONE CAN BEAT IT.

Friendly staff. Offers a private room to dine at. Good food. Big serving and you can really feel that Japanese vibe.

This was my first time there and it was amazing. The drinks were great the food was all so fresh and the presentation was beautiful. We were in one of the private rooms and had a great experience, our server was so courteous and professional. I will definitely go back and will highly recommend this beautiful place.

Excellent service, fantastic food, and great bang for your buck! I love sushi and Asoyama is my go-to for decently priced good quality sushi. The tatami rooms provide a lovely option for a private meal. I've had a wonderful dining experience every time!

Decently expensive, but absolutely worth it. You can taste the quality of the ingredients used. Tried a special roll called the sparkling roll, absolutely wonderful.

Went tonight for dinner. We had the party platter for 4 and it was delicious. Rice is fresh, great variety of rolls. Seaweed salad was ok. Excellent customer service and prices are very reasonable. Our waitress was very attentive and food came out in less than 10 min after ordering. Will definitely come back.

I am a huge sushi connoisseur that has tried sushi across the city. Pros: the staff was very nice. Cons: something smelled “off” with one of the sushi rolls and I proceeded to eat it anyway based on the great reviews. I ended up feeling ill the next day, which has deterred me from coming back here.
