We really enjoyed our dinner at Ship to Shore. The atmosphere was nice and chill. The lamb lollipops and scallops with mushroom were delicious, so much flavor! My husband enjoyed the roasted duck and the banana créame pie. Would recommend if visiting Kingston like we were.Dine in: Yes
Ship to Shore is a phenomenal restaurant. My wife and I ate here two nights in a row for my birthday and just a romantic night out on the town. The service was wonderful shout-out to Tyler!, The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits Kingston.
The food here is DELICIOUS! My family and I drove almost 2 hours to try this place out and it was totally worth it. The pictures are off a steak and shrimp scampi special they offered and the flank steak entree that's a staple on the menu. Both were wonderful dishes. Our waiter, Mike, was also a great guy - super friendly and attentive. He only added to the already wonderful ambiance. The decor is that of a standard pub/steakhouse, but the surrounding area is beautiful, located close to the river. The is plenty of outdoor seating here, though you will need to call ahead to reserve it during summer months as it seems outdoor tables are in high demand during the pandemic. Still, this is a definite MUST TRY for anyone looking to enjoy a good meal away from the noise of NYC and would make for a really nice, relaxed date night meal. NOTE: The plates came out looking better than what is shown in my pictures. The food here was so good, we just started eating right away, before I could remember to take a picture
Early dinner was delicious drinks were pinapple infused vodka i didnt catch a buz after having 4 on the rocks which was very strange i should of been plastered. Don't order the banana cream pie it was horrible didnt even taste like banana CREAM pie very pricey 194.00 total bill we have eaten there several time this is the only time i wasnt satisfied with the drinks and dessert .....
Honestly, the French press coffee was like tea watery. Their chicken & waffles were served with a tomato, lettuce & pickle, served cold, dry, overpriced and…flavorless! Very disappointed for a restaurant we used to love & spend most holidays! I guess like everything, prices went up & quality of food & service went down. Not sure we will return for a long time. :
Surprise! Such delicious, linguine with shrimp, fish chips come with fresh crispy and tender juicy fish and fries, Flavor! , really recommend! Must stop if u travel around Hudson valley!
Sadly in town for a funeral, but our hotel front desk recommended this restaurant after i asked her for a place with gluten free options. What a nice cozy atmosphere. We had Cesar Salad minus the croutons, grilled Octopus wow amazing then NY strip steak delicious and tender and the grilled swordfish which was tantalizing to every taste bud on my tongue w/a spicy grilled pepper and a bright salsa which cooled the spice and fresh cilantro made the whole dish pop! Loved this place and our waitress was great and friendly as well.
On one of the hottest days of the summer, a friend and I enjoyed a delicious lunch in the cool yet cozy atmosphere of Ship to Shore. We had refreshing and delicious mocktails with lavender and lemonade I think, followed by rigatoni dishes-one of the specials, and one from the regular menu. They were both great, and we had enough to bring home for dinner! I'll definitely go back the next time I'm in Kingston!
Hey guys you should try this restaurant it’s really delicious wow … I highly recommend
Came in at 715pm on Labor Day for dinner. The tuna nicoise & rigatoni with sausage were very good. The pasta had a spicy kick to it, & the sauce was delightful. The tuna was served rare & cooked quite well. The only downside was the service - from the host to the servers. I'll chalk it up to it being a busy weekend, but they all congregated by the bread often to chat & didn't seem too interested in proactively checking on tables.
