I am not sure if words can ever be enough to express the immense gratitude I have for Lisa, Michelle and the team at Shing Weddings but I will try. Firstly, Lisa, Michelle & the team, you are truly the best. I couldn’t be more grateful. I decided to have a wedding just 4 months ago. I had a vision of what I wanted & dream of. I was specific with how I envision the wedding to be, I knew where I wanted it to be. But it was also a challenging job - being a post pandemic year, a year with the most weddings ever, and therefore comes with several challenges in getting vendors, timeframe, etc. From day 1, I met Lisa, she listened with great attentiveness & then with great enthusiasm with her bright personality. Even before I engaged her services, she had already been so helpful & honest with her suggestions and opinions. I knew she was going to be the one. Throughout the four months, she cared so much about my wedding, as if it was her own happiness. She helped us navigate through the whole planning seamlessly. I was most impressed on the day of my wedding. Lisa, Michelle & the team were absolutely incredible with their attentiveness to every detail. EVERY DETAIL from the morning of till the evening. The wedding was flawlessly executed & everything went smoothly as planned, exactly the way I had envisioned it to be. Because of them, I really got to enjoy the my wedding, to be able to soak it all in and it was the most beautiful day ever. It has been a month since our wedding & we still have so many people calling us to talk about how beautiful our wedding was and how much they enjoyed it. I am so grateful. Thank you, Lisa. Every time I talk to my family, friends and colleagues about my wedding planning experience, I tell them that hiring Lisa was the BEST wedding investment ever! From our first meeting, Lisa was very attentive, positive and professional. She made wedding planning so much easier and stress-free. She took care of every little detail and kept us on track with our budget and timeline. Lisa was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Not only was our wedding a complete success - it exceeded our expectations in every single way. This success was largely due to Lisa’s contributions. You could say she was the glue for our wedding. Planning a wedding is a daunting task; planning a memorable wedding that hits all the right notes is even more challenging. Because of Lisa, we were able to accomplish the latter with relative ease and with no worries. Lisa noted all of our specific needs down to the last detail and patiently helped us navigate through the planning process. She took care of all the small details you wouldn’t even know to think about. Her vast experience, wealth of knowledge, and guidance were invaluable assets. But not only that, Lisa was also incredibly generous with her time, often going above and beyond her scope. I could feel how much she cared about our wedding. It genuinely felt like she was as invested in our wedding as we were, and the success of the wedding mattered just as much to her as it did to us. On the day of our wedding, Lisa and her team were absolutely impeccable. Everyone, including our guests, was impressed by how attentive and coordinated Lisa and her team were. The day went flawlessly and was perfectly executed - all thanks to Lisa's meticulous level of organization and preparation throughout the planning process. Nothing could have gone better - and that isn’t an exaggeration! What made our experience with Lisa so special, however, was Lisa herself. From day 1, Lisa shined a bright, positive energy that translated throughout our entire wedding; and this is what sets her apart - her amazing personality and charm. From seeing how she interacted with our guests, her team, and vendors, it’s clear that everyone loves her; and it truly made the biggest difference to everyone that was part of our wedding. Words can’t truly express our immense gratitude to you and the Shing Team. Our most special day was one we’ll never forget, and we’ll always cherish how we felt and how stress-free the entire day was. To any couples out there planning a wedding, we highly recommend Michelle and Shing Weddings. From the early planning stages to our wedding day, Michelle had been with us every step of the way and had honed in on every detail, minor or major. We believe she must have been in the military in a previous life because of her unbelievable attention to detail, and ability to execute a lengthy 20-hour wedding day event, with that intense and accurate military-precision. Everything was coordinated flawlessly, from the photographers and videographers, emcees, hair and makeup team, florist and decor, photobooth, DJ, venue reception, to the installation of the dance floor. We celebrated our special union at three locations, and each event was a huge success. My hard-to-please Vietnamese parents were super impressed by everything, which if you know Asian parents, this speaks volumes. We all know wedding celebrations are expensive, and we couldn’t imagine spending all that money and leaving it up to chance about how the day will go. We needed insurance, and that insurance was Michelle and the Shing Team. We felt entirely at ease and had zero stress in the days leading up to the wedding and on our wedding day. We only felt overwhelming love and joy. Shing Weddings was the best investment we made in our wedding, and we received an immeasurable return on the investment. It was quite the daunting task of planning a 200-person wedding at three venues but Michelle helped guide us through every step. No question was too silly and no detail was too insignificant. Our wedding day was truly the happiest day of our life, and we are eternally grateful to Michelle and the Shing Team. Utmost gratitude towards the Shing Weddings team for our wedding on June 26, 2022. From signing on with the team and having Michelle be a guiding support to the dedication for details helping us be set up and create the smoothest wedding day possible, we highly recommend this professional, genuine and fun team! The attention to detail and soft reminders in the months leading up to the wedding, Michelle has been amazing to work with and plan with. She along with the team that day helped make sure to get our vision for the day just right. It's helped me, as a perfectionist and who's run large work and fundraising events, feel so at ease I even had a moment to close my eyes and rest. Having Nancy to support the morning and early afternoon activities as the bridal assistant, I felt completely taken care of especially to help when we needed to take photos and getting to the right places at the right time. Alex was also amazing - not only was he there when we needed someone to look after our pup after the ceremony but also he without question drove two of our family home when the car service / taxi was not available just to make sure they got home safe at the end of the night. Lisa has a 5 review for a reason, because she’s PERFECT. And this is almost impossible for me to say as a perfectionist. My husband and I agree that having Lisa as our wedding planner is one of our best decisions and investment in life lol, it’s so worth it!! Lisa helped us to postpone our wedding 2-3 times due to COVID over the course of 3 years and I’m sure has done so much work behind the scenes. We wanted to have a stress free planning process so Lisa took care of everything and with left us with the perfect amount of freedom to make our own decisions. On the wedding day I felt truly like a queen , all because Lisa and her team was so attentive, and I’m beyond impressed. Shing Weddings was amazing. They really cared for me from A-Z for my wedding day regardless of the package I chose. Sometimes, I felt like they are doing more than they should have. Lisa, Michelle, Anh and my apologies but the last two gentlemen I met on the day of my wedding, were amazing. Everywhere I went, I turned around and someone was ready to assist me, whether it be lifting up my dress or topping off my drink. They did anything and everything they could to make me the bride stress free. I felt genuine care from the team not only for my mental state but they really cared about how I envisioned the wedding to be and made sure I got my dream wedding. They cared about the little details I didn't even knew existed! They are actually so ridiculously nice. Thank you so much for everything. Hiring Lisa as my wedding planner has been a game changer for me. She is so kind and really great at what she does. You can tell she genuinely cares for her couples and wants the best for them. With COVID-19, there were a lot of changes this summer with our wedding. Lisa has been so empathetic and supportive throughout all of it. Originally our wedding accommodating 300 people was planned for June 2020. We decided to postpone our wedding to May 2021, but with a lot of hardships we had gone through during the pandemic, we decided we wanted to get married in November 2020... no matter what decision we gave Lisa, she supported us and was able to plan the wedding that we envisioned. We ended up with a new plan of celebrating with a ceremony & a reception, accommodating 30 people... but with further restrictions in place, we were forced to proceed with a very perfect, intimate micro wedding of 8 people. You can only imagine how stressful the restrictions can be for the wedding industry as well, but Lisa handled it all so flawlessly. Lisa is very detail-oriented, incredibly organized and professional. There were a lot of uncertainties and anxiety for us revolving around planning a COVID-19 friendly wedding and Lisa executed them very well. She goes above and beyond for her wedding couples. Without her, I don't think that we would have survived the chaos of planning a wedding through a pandemic. With all the challenges thrown our way, she tackled it all in the most calm and best way possible to ensure everything went smoothly. On the day of the wedding I was anxious because I anticipated chaos. It comforted me so much that I really had nothing to be nervous about other than wedding jitters! because both Lisa and Michelle knew exactly what they were doing and I knew I had to place 110% trust in them. The two of them adapt to change very well and they have their couples best interest at heart. We are so grateful to have met Lisa and Michelle, even our friends and family had nothing but good things to say about them! Our wedding is not over yet, we still have a reception to celebrate as soon as it is safe to do so! Thank you Lisa and Michelle for making our wedding come true. We ended up celebrating our daughter's first birthday/wedding reception in 2022. Lisa maintained her professionalism and was so accommodating throughout the process. It was the perfect event and all of our family and friends had so much fun. I would highly recommend Shing Weddings, it is worth every penny <3

When you know, you know. That is how I felt meeting Lisa three years ago. Five minutes into our initial meeting--I knew Shing Weddings would be the best team to execute our wedding, and they surely did not disappoint. With the pandemic, we postponed our wedding a couple of times, but we found comfort knowing Lisa was there for us every step of the way.
